If we consider we are 5 levels under, and able to melt her on t1 with anywhere from 5-10 mins left and on T2 shes doable with over 5 mins left.
I would suggest this is just a loot pinata for casual players and world bosses are not really aspirational content.

second T2 … 7 minutes
third T1 … 14 minutes
forth T2 … 10 minutes
fifth T1 … 14 minutes 40 seconds …
later you will be able to kill WB solo on lower difficulty … at least i could on T3 … but we will see cuz they did lots of changes lately

Agreed. I did 7 attempts and got a kill each time, one of them was even with all druids and necros in only rares on tier 2. Let’s wait for Tyri to see this. (If you know, you know)
Edit: For real though, I don’t see why some poeple genuinely had issues with it if they were trying to learn the mechanics. The boss isn’t hard, it’s just a fairly simple DPS check. People are going to rage HARD when the real endgame content is here.

As random as groups might be, players could defo manipulate the success rate by simply having the level 20 leg weapon from kor dragon, or competent builds, the damage difference between builds on ashava was massive, and even more so with the 20 leg weapon.
I would say its very possible for a single player to determine the success of a run if you are correctly built/geared.
If you can get a group of level 20 people that know the encounter it’s very simple.
However, if you get a bunch of newer players and half of them below the level cap it’s near impossible.
The area should have been level gated at a minimum. Even better just let people choose to play solo.

Honestly I like the idea of it being level gated, but it’d also ruin the flow of the exploration I think. Part of the appeal is being able to go anywhere and stumble onto something like that and get stomped.
I don’t think I ever saw more than eight people in the same zone instance.
My druid / necro run was with a bunch of people on hardcore characters, so yes I did it with zero deaths.
The fight is not hard, you just need to learn the mechanics. It is intended to be difficult.

No, i was a little lazy with movement, and died twice.
Though it is very possible to do the boss with no deaths if you can be bothered to focus.
Stand on her back left leg at all times, and when you see the double hit (2 circles on the ground), the backswipe is coming, you simply step to her dead centre, her butt basically right in middle, and outside of this, u dont stand in green, and thats it. Thats the mechanics/.
Forgot my 3 party group was in Veteran mode. We landed at level 20 around 7:00pm Saturday night and made it to the 9:00pm WB time. Only 5 others showed up. The boss timed out at 65% life. Tried again hoping more people would show up the next day still not realizing we’re in Veteran mode at 12:00pm (EST). Only 4 people showed up again. So, figured we would wait until 3:00pm Sunday. - Nope, WB doesn’t spawn after 12:00pm on Sunday. (sigh)
Won her double times WT1, and one time WT2.
What’s funny, is that we killed her quicker on WT2 
The world encounters scale to player count / getting it alone would be the dream!

I don’t think it was “far too easy” for a level 20, but it’s not even intended for level 20.
It is just a loot pinata like a WoW world boss. That’s all they’ve ever been. Only a small number of players I think tried to convince themselves world bosses were some kind of high-end raid content.
You would need full legendaries and well optimized build for solo T2.
Not sure about T1 and its difference in difficulty.
Ashava is the easiest world boss. Avarice will give people a lot more trouble.
I didn’t find that to be the case in closed beta. A lot of people died on Ashava, not as many on other bosses.
Although at higher difficulties the bosses would tend to die so fast you wouldn’t have to do many mechanics for long. Avarice I’d have to ask people in chat to kill it slower so we could spawn goblins with stagger to get more loot, but often people killed it before getting any goblins.
Yea I mean she wasn’t hard at all in the first beta. But you were level 25 with more skills and gear.
The difficulty this beta was your team.

I’m glad you were successful, but don’t diminish others by that and learn perspective and humility. You are not the metric for the game, you are the outliers. Next?
