Ashava experience

We had EIGHT lvl 20 chars in our instance.
Everyone said they were experienced from the first beta and prepared for the fight.
We fought for 15 minutes, had about 1/4 of Ashava’s HP left when she despawned.

Who thought it was a good idea to hide rewards behind this garbage experience when you have no failsafe / balancing on the instancing / scaling and on top of that reduce the max level to lvl 20 when you obviously didn’t even touch the “balancing” we had in the first beta?

This experience is garbage, this game will be garbage, I will not buy it, GG whoever gets paid for these decisions: your job is an actual meme.

Well said. Looks like they spend more time making marketing videos than actually fixing the game.

Locking limited-time cosmetics (and a 2 day limit at that!) behind such a hard boss is a bad PR move

Sometimes I think Blizzard is oblivious to the fact that the flip side of using FOMO to keep people “engaged” is that when they miss out, they just bail on the game entirely.

I mean after beta 1 I was giving the game a chance in the back of my head to maybe be bought.

Now it’s a no-go.

The Necromancers have been mutilated to a point playing the game feels like a chore instead of being a fun experience.

The worldboss is a garbage experience, as I just described.

The final straw is that I found some weird potions for level 30+ in my inventory that boosted experience and damage against mob classes + experience by x%. In the long run the rates will be made so terrible that you will NEED those potions and they will be sold for hard cash. It’s what korean P2W companies already did 10+ years ago and the same trash has found its way into diablo now.

The only good about this game is the visuals, but the core of the gameplay is not good. I don’t think it’s worth the 70 bucks price tag.

Are you on WT2? Go to WT 1.

just kill it on world tier 1. they told everyone the level cap would be 5 levels lower.

Yeah, this experience is solely dependent on your luck if you are not one of those people with dedicated party or someone with dedicated follower base that are dying to play with you. And I wasn’t so lucky.

World boss was miserable in the last beta and nothings changed. just remove the time limit. if it takes an hour to grind down let people do that. the time limit just makes it feel like you’ve wasted your time. you can tell pretty quickly if its not going to happen and there’s no opportunity to lower the tier and try again without waiting hours. was that the only spawn during your play time today? too bad try again another day.

unless you can overgear it and solo it the world bosses are just an experience of everyone blaming everyone else for failing.

Absolutely and 100% agree with this. On a holiday weekend to boot.

Already sacrificed time away from family and it’s near impossible to complete.

They specifically said it would be very difficult and was meant to be a challenge. They said they had to test to make sure it was possible. It’s not meant to be a “You hit level 20” participation award.

We had 8 level 20s in our instance as well, but we succeeded.

You can do it.

My experience:

  • Switched to Difficulty 1
  • Went to place. Me and only 1 guy (lvl 20 rogue) was there
  • Realized it would be impossible to kill her with 2 people, townportal, changed difficulty to 2
  • Returned to WB, not enough people as well. After some minutes of the fight, she lost like 10% health
  • Townportal to difficulty 1
  • World boss icon disapeared from map
  • Went to place to check it out. Was empty
  • Closed game

See, I just got the info I randomly saw in the launcher, had a terrible experience, hate Blizzard more than ever before, and that’s coming from a d1,2,3 veteran.

If you like the situation: great for you. I hate it and call it an extremely stupid business decision.
As long as there are enough idiots defending the idiocy they release, things won’t change.

Well, let’s just give everyone that participated in the encounter the trophy. Okay? Good.

Let’s give people that beat it an exclusive mount.

You miss the point.

This whole event isn’t about stroking your ego and rewarding you with goodies for being a stronk, tuff gamer, it’s about advertising the game and making sales.

No…just make the game good

unless you have a full group of friends that you teamed up with, or you soloed the boss than you’ve only beat it by luck.

My only complaint is the 3-hour wait. I think 1 hour would have been better. Then people would have a chance to fail, see what their mistakes were, and come back once or twice in three hours. I’m not going to wait for every three hours to roll around as I have other things I need to do. I’ll get it though

•1 hour
•Auto-remove people under 20
•Remove the timer
•Fill in the group better somehow

Granted, it’s too late for that now. But just how I probably would have approached it.
