Artificial queue times

At this point most of us are aware that these are a complete lie. It’s just a way to make “some” of us think there’s a lot of people playing the game.

Based on the majority of people disliking the game in its current state, bad loot, no endgame, same gear from level 1-100, grinding, money grab seasons, etc

I could go on forever with all of the issues but anyways I hope they improve everything fast.

You think they artificially created problems on a season launch when it’s the most important time to have a smooth experience - just so they could give an “I told you so” to a handful of forum and reddit cryers?

Deary me…

They’ve acknowledged an issue with queue times. It has nothing to do with the amount of players despite what some trolls have been trying to say on the forums.

“I gUeSs No OnE qUiT aFtErAlL LoL”

“rent a server”, blizzard pays the big provider on load and traffic, and they adjust the server based on need.

The server are not fixed, but dynamic, and they adjust fast and hard on the real need.

So getting a little under prognose, to safe money, is always the most profitable way.

I only say that because of what time it was when I’m logging in. I figured queue times were because of a lot of players on. And since I was logging in during a time when very few players are playing Friday (work day) 5-6 AM CST time.

Exactly. I understand how these things typically work. My point was that of course they didn’t create problems on purpose - it looks bad to everyone having such issues in the first few hours.

I doubt its artificial
Have seen people in what otherwise was a ghost town.

Maybe that is still artificially cramming us on less servers, maybe?
Hence the terrible lag.

Who knows, maybe we are all being fooled.
We are not opening our wallets faster enough for the big suites.

It seems the majority of players are unhappy with this game right now. I see it all over forums, Reddit, YouTube, Facebook, etc. I seen a poll from a popular YouTuber which asked “Are you happy with the new Diablo IV patch” the results were 92% said NO and 8% said yes.

Keep in mind this is literally thousands upon thousands of people submitting their votes. All of this is not the minority at all, it’s the majority. Most people think the game is terrible right now, hate the patch, and think seasons aren’t that great.

I don’t think it was done on purpose, but on the other hand queue times tell you absolutely nothing about the population of the game.

My god. I don’t know if it’s hilarious or a real shame to write such things.

Nope they said it was a bug on twitter

And I saw one from maxroll where the majority are enjoying the season.

Definitely a lot of unhappiness about the patch for a variety of reasons. Understandably so in a lot of cases.

And none of what you said explains why Blizzard would purposefully bork their season launch
