I read there may be a bug involved with Artificer Stones, but I wonder if it would be better to just get rid of a requirement to run them. It steals the fun out of trying to push when you run out of stones. Kind of feels blah.
there indeed is a bug apparently, so that itd consume twice as many stones.
I wonder how people are running out of them tho. I never pay attention to them at all ^^

It used to be that when you clicked to open a Pit, a message popped up asking you to confirm if you want to open the Pit. Only when you clicked OK did you spend the Stones and the Pit opened.
Now, when you click to open the Pit, it takes the stones and opens immediately. But it still pops up the confirmation box asking if you want to open the Pit. If you click OK, then it takes another 3 stones, essentially double-dipping. Yet the Pit is already opened.
What you need to do is click on Cancel in the pop-up box, or press Esc to close the pop-up. That way, you won’t get charged the extra stones.
I also run ooa (out of art…) cause i double consumed at the filthy pit pillar pop up
After that i did a small furry handful of NMDs and were back at 335 stones.
Now i very very carefully click the pit pillar softly as possible and when the beautiful moongate… erm portal opens i quickly click the B button of my controller-device for 5 minutes (or more) to cancel the filthy double-pay option and happily do the pit.
good to know about this workaround. I mean, it should absolutely get fixed, even tho its not a huge issue. But for the time being, its nice to know about this.
