Arreat's Bearing maximum masterwork is 8

Is this happening to anyone else? My Arreat’s Bearing (Barbarian Unique Pants) have a maximum Masterworking of 8. I can still put them in the blacksmith for more but it doesn’t allow me to upgrade to 9 or more, and it shows “8/8”…

I got a second one, tried masterworking, and same thing…

Are they Item power 800?
if they are 750 they can only go up to 8/8

You are completely right, this is the issue. Indeed, both of my items are level 750! I was completely oblivious to this information.
