I have 3 builds; Shadowblight, Bone Splinter, Blood Lance.
I swap to Bone Splinter build but I can’t load my Shadowblight build from Armory.
I swap to Blood Lance build, now I can’t load both Shadowblight and Bone Splinter builds.
Not sure if this is your issue but check conflicts with runes.
The game won’t let you equip the same rune twice and the armory gives no error if a loadout would do this. Took me a while to figure that out.

Thank you. I took off all runes from my gears (Both my current set and the one in the loadout) but it still doesn’t work.
I had maybe the same issue with my Shadowblight armory loadout. The issue is a bug that occurs if you have paragon boards that connect back with each other. Maxroll’s build guide calls for the five boards to connect like this:

If you remove board E and save that loadout, you can successfully load it. If you save the build with board E connected to boards D and B, you won’t be able to load it.

Thank you! That’s the cause.
I had this same issue until I learned a trick, that is to leave 1 unspent paragon point before saving. If you are currently being locked out from a template just level up 1 level and it will work again.
Was able to test and confirm this does work. If you level up and have an unspent paragon point, you can load an armory load-out with boards that connect with each other (circle back).
I had previously tested this by spending all my points except for one but that didn’t work; leveling up and having a new paragon point to spend seems to be the key for working around this bug.

Confirming this test. I was unable to equip, went to an infernal horde and leveled up - immediately left the horde and checked the armory, was able to equip again.
It’s kind of ridiculous how many work arounds we have to keep track of just to have a functional armory…

Yes. I’ve had trouble with rune conflicts in the past and they were fixable but this isn’t. Even if you take our every rune and jewel it’s still stuck. And the paragon board thing, if it exists, is a bug. Because if you follow the guides there shouldn’t be conflicts with other boards.
When you say level up, do you mean go from torment one to torment two or do you mean get another paragon point. Not easy to do if you’re at paragon 272. I tried both tonight and got nothing.
Yeah, my Equip button is just not pickable.
Leveling up an additional Paragon level and not spending that new point allowed me to equip different saved Armory loadouts when I had this paragon board bug.
