oh god, these times are luckily over for me. I remember a wow expansion release, where i was so addicted on energy drinks i honestly had issues after 4 days with like 3 hours of sleep xD
my preperation is just some selfmade guacamole and nachos, a beer, starting super relaxed
I will prepare by surfing the forums the first week of the patch, cackling gleefully at all the tears and rage from the game breaking bugs that are sure to occur. Once things get more stable, then I will make a seasonal character.
1 - Disk space
2 - Making sure I’ve jogged or at least been in motion enough (so I can sustain the what I’d probably sustain being 4+ hours no motion play sessions tbh)
Mmm… yes. I am sure there will be tears lol. Some of them might even by mine. Is it wrong if I get fueled by my own tears
I am surprised nobody had invented the Pillow Keyboard… for those late night sessions!
Why does putting together the words “healthy” and 'snacks" seem so wrong to me lol.
I jest but seriously, you gotta sneak in at least one Cheeto and a sip of Mountain Dew or the RNG gods might get angry! Of course, I’m saying this as I am munching on some almonds lol.
Yeah, I have my fitbit set to remind me to get off my tushy every three hours I believe.
Popcorn for the inevitable and a cold beer.
A desire to play but falling asleep 2 hours in because work.
Hopefully I can get a good chunk of the season quests done.
Look forward to play previously-weak builds and hope to enjoy them. It’ll be hard to beat pulverize.
Future hall of fame NFL player Rob Gronkowski used to apparently go out drinking heavily all night, arrive at the stadium in the wee hours of the morning, pass out on a medical table, have an IV hooked up to him with fluids, wake up several hours later, and then go absolutely dominate everyone at practice.
I’ve been a Patriots fan since the mid 90s. Belichick was one of the harshest disciplinarians the NFL has ever seen. He did things like release a guy making 15 million a year because he was late to a meeting one time when it was snowing. For some reason though there were things he would tolerate. Gronkowski apparently brought one of those staples "easy button"s to practice and every time he scored a touchdown he would pull it out and start pressing it.
I’ve actually never taken time off to play a game. I don’t stockpile snacks either. In fact, when I get really into a game for a few days, which happens very rarely anymore, I tend to just skip meals. It’s great because those gaming binges, on the rare occasion that they happen, turn into a fasting period for me.
My prep is that I will log in sometime on the 15th, or 16th depending on a few things, and play.
And hopefully get hooked and waste a lot of time playing over the next few weeks.
OR not, in which case my back up is Ghost of Tsushima finally getting released on PC. Gonna dump a bunch of hours into that game for sure, only question is will that start next month or next week.
