lag, freeze up, need to force close the game, long time logging in the game, maybe it’s time to change those 386 servers to something up to date

I’m desyncing with the server a lot too today to the point where I have to exit the game. Weirdest part is that I lose what was in my inventory when I log back in… Luckily, I haven’t lost anything particularly valuable, but still, can’t really play at the moment.

Having this issue as well. Became unresponsive twice whilst running pits. Once at the boss room and the boss didn’t spawn and the server finally kicked me out for losing connection. And once after I killed the boss. Can’t even quit to main menu, either wait for server to kick you or exit game.

The game is disconnecting from the servers but keeping the character in world past timeout.
Manually close game. Then it goes through the whole “Your character progress has not finished saving to log you out”
I have now run into around 10 people today in game with this issue including myself every few hours.
One girl thought she was going crazy or something was wrong on her end.
She was on console. So its affecting both realms.
Thoughts: (It’s probably microsofts way of justifying the uselessness of “AppHungTimeout”)
(Maybe they are running tests on it to create an exclusive fullscreen mode, i doubt it though…)

Most of the isssues I’m having are horde related, but that hasnt been just today.
Ok so it’s not just me finally getting enough CDR to have perma teleport today. Literally wasted multiple Horde keys, as well as some Undercity Keys. Everything on screen just freezes, running in place, I’m able to move but can’t do anything/pick anything up/TP ect. Have had to force close each time.

Happening to me also. Twice in hordes, twice just stood in town in last 24hrs. Can run around but no interactions and other players just running on the spot. Have to exit game or use task manager.
I noticed it put me back about 2 mins when i logged in. I had stuff in inventory which i know i had salvaged, and also i changed ensembles and it took me back to the old one.

this is getting ridiculous. it constantly disconnects and also the teleporting glitch where your health and energy/mana are greyed out w/ a black screen is a constant issue.

It’s been bad for me today. Stupid they didn’t make an offline mode like the rest.
As of 10:40pm PDT, it has not improved. Been unable to play all day.
Hope they fix this soon. Those demons aren’t going to hunt themselves.

Likely a DDOS (?) as I’ve been kicked out of game 3 times now.

happened to me twice in last hour just stood in town changing build
It literally has been all day… My friends are going through it on console as well usually we get the DDOS message update but havent heard anything OFFICIAL from BLIZZZ yet so what is the deal… Also having crazy memory issues… My Hamster Henry is running extra hard on his wheel trying to deal with the major issues these servers have been causing my computer… lmao… Please Please look into… Investigate… Lets come up with something to save this community and the game… Im hanging in there guys honestly… Diablo was my childhood… Its so bad im getting full 30s dead stops stutters it took me 3 full minutes to walk from the Blacksmith in Cerrigar to start up a pit… Like i have some patience and i got love for you guys but damn… Like i cant even play hardcore in d4… Its disappointing… What is insane is that even though all day we have been crashing stuttering running in place in unplayable servers NPCs disappearing 3k latency then just the total shut down… Your Diablo fans are all sitting here after 8 seasons still trying to get back into the servers and play the game we love for however long we can stay in there until it crashes again… Get inspired… You still got a community… Do we still got you? We are here still but like how can we love a game that we cant play…
I think a better question is why is the poor performance from Diablo 4 affecting the rest of my computer? Without D4 running, 2.2 gbps download speed. D4 running, 280-300 mbps, it sure isn’t using that much of the bandwidth so what kind of poorly isolated network connection is the game using?
I’m playing on EU, even turned Crossplay off as that helps with lags.
However last 2 days, in my primetime 7-11PM I usually spike to over 2000ms latency (normally I’m around 75). Got timed out only once, but this is still unplayable. Checking my Internet usage, and anything else (no background downloads or something like that) and all seems fine.
Also, son playing FFXIV online raids at the same time has no lag spikes whatsoever.
So I assume it is on my route to the servers (since EU streamers don’t get the issue at the same time as I do…)
Before the last few days I was completely fine regarding lag issues.
I’ve had to force close the game about 4 or 5 times today. Definitely a pain…
Happened just sitting in town, and during infernal hordes.
