Please can you take a look at Seething Opals?
I’m not sure about gold/materials/herbs, it might be working and I’m just not noticing the difference.
But they don’t appear to be giving reputation at all? I’m on like paragon level 20, was using a seething opal the entire time and I’m not even rank 4.
I used a seething opal and got ZERO reputation. Totally bugged.
yeah looks like the only place you get rep is in the dungeon and nothing outside. also it straight up dioesnt work with the drops. it drops whatever it is gold/mats/equipment on the first mob you kill then nothing at all.
I get like maybe 30 or 40 points and then they stop working…that’s if I don’t booted from the game with a message stating that I only have the trial version of VOH, despite purchasing it months ago…
Same thing for me, got 0 reputation on map
I have noticed this as well. The intended drops are less than 5% of the time and the XP for rewards just stops working. you get like 10-20 points and then the rest of the 30 mins buff just does nothing. This happening on PC as well as PS.
This is still bugged obviously but has anyone seen Blizzard acknowledge the bug? They have multiple hotfixes and a patch coming next week but none of them seem to address Opals, which as a seasonal mechanic you think they would of tried a little harder to get it right

I’m battle pass lvl 85, permanent opal’s buff and still step IX
& Sometime the buff mysticly disapear 
My husband is on the Xbox, and I Ps5. I seem to be having the same issue as he started later than I have, and has already passed me on rep and since he has started, we’ve played together and he should be be below me… Not past me. -_-
Just tested this today, popped a Opal and ran a pit and got zero rep, ran around in a helltide and maybe got 20, did a nightmare dungeon and got none. They are not working right, on PC at least.
PS5. Reputation gains are completely random. Got some today while not running an opal or going near the event.
Totally bugged:
Just tested a Seething opal in T2 PC
1 Pit 50 I got 96 zakarum remnant reputation.
2 Jumped into a realmwalker portal (didn’t help kill him) and got 184
3 Pit 55 I got ZERO (the opal ran out while killing the boss)
PITA because the realmwalker system is slow and boring.
The zakarum reputation system is so bad and should be account wide or something. Can’t imagine bothering to do this garbage on an alt.
Can confirm opals STILL not working. A major seasoned component not working at all.is pretty big deal. No announcement? No fix days later? Def not a good look for Diablo and Blizzard…
Yea, not working for me either. It seems to work for some people and not for others.
The worse part of all of this. No dev, no community manager, nobody from Blizzard has even at least acknowledged so many issue on this SO Call “Bug Report Forum”!
I’m starting to wonder is this a Forum with a meaning or just a Forum Blizzard made for us to come and Vent to each other!
It’s been over 5 days and still no word for a fix. At this point the season is meaningless for me since I can’t use seething opals. You would think devs would have a fix for a main mechanic for this season after 5 days. Just goes to show that they don’t care for problems if it isn’t wide spread.
So after some testing, I am getting rep in NMD, Infernal Hordes, and pits…the rep doesn’t pop up on the screen, but I checked with the Rep vendor and I average about 100 rep per run(rank 8 = 1800 - so 18 runs)…which is sad. I might finish the rep grind by the end of the season lol.
but you should get a notification on kill that you got reputation. What kind of opal did you use? Did you got any of the associated rewards? gold/materials/equipment etc while having an active opal? I testing it right now and i dont get anything. Tested it open worl normal zone, tested it hatred rising area, now testing it in the seething realm and still got no loot or a notification on every mob kill like it should be
No rewards while doing pits and Infernal hordes. I didnt notice anything different from drops in NMD though. Same random RNG crap drops lol
