Ive got a 3xGA Shako yesterday and heard all Myths will be worth nothing next expansion. Is this true ?
Well eternal mythics now will be 540.
And the best item level will be 800.
So probably better as sparks…but you can make sparks later…no need to rush to anything.
It depends from what we saw from the ptr the affixes will be of the max level but the items armor or damage won’t be so for weapons there trash but non weapons are probibly still actually useable but you probibly want to get a replacement at some point
Armor pieces will be worth holding onto in most cases but the jewelry will see a decrement and the weapons will become trash for damage even though they’ll still be decent stat sticks.
A GA Mythic will still have max affixes, they aren’t being reduced. The only thing being reduced is the innate affixes like native armor/damage/resists (jewelry).
For Shako, it doesn’t matter since the Armor affix is present, and in this case, GA. The biggest impact are to weapons, that lose a chunk of base damage.
And being 540 might just be a PTR bug regardless. We don’t actually know yet…Blizzard has been absolutely silent on PTR bugs (see: Necro minions and Mortacrux).
I hope so eternal players get it to easy as it is honestly.
They should continue doing gear resets every patch to tell the truth.
To make it fair for season players
That’s a 3GA Spark. lololz
Except it isn’t.
For Mythics on PTR, they are reduced to ilvl 540, but the Affixes are still max. The only thing 540 reduces are the innate affixes. It really only affects Weapons since the base damage decreases, and Jewelry since the innate Resist decreases. Armor on other items also gets hit, but Armor can be easily obtained elsewhere.
Finally - we don’t actually know if the reduction to ilvl 540 for Mythics is a PTR bug or not. Blizzard hasn’t spoken about any PTR bugs, even though we know there are many.
If you’re not planning on getting the expansion, 540+25 item power is fine for Penitence. Can’t get to T1 without getting the expansion since base game will be stuck at level 50 forever.
Was just teasing, bro.
They won’t be useless but they won’t be as powerful as before.
But then again it all depends on what the actual patch notes will be for S6.
Right because there are leaderboards and competitive stuff between eternal and seasonal realms so let’s make sure everything is fair!
Nope. This is another lie. Base game players will have access to both lv 60 (max) as well as Paragon. They’ll still have access to The Pit and can climb to T4 just like in PTR.
If there’s new Paragon points via statues/rep in the new area, Base game won’t have access to it.
Base game won’t have access to runes, mercenaries, Dark Citadel, or Undercity. And obviously not Spiritborn.
The weapons are basically bad now, replace ASAP. Armor and jewelry will generally be better off.
Your shako might not be the best shako ever but it’s still going to be usable.
That’s right I’m glad you finally agree took ya long enough.
Damn hippies
I love my fans. They are the best!
Shako will just have less armor so its a keep as a 3 GA. We are assuming that 540 power mythics will have same affix stats as all mythics are max affixes. Its the mythic weapons that get destroyed with less dmg.
Don’t listen to anyone except Blizzard. They’ll have a developer update prior to go-live of VoH which will be telling. If you still don’t know by then, assume the worst.
Yeah that is why I said wait to melt them, that way you can use them till you find a replacement.
I will say though you will hit a point where you WILL need to replace them, becuase armor cap is harder to hit now.
Level 12 masterworked gear if you have all of them which many of us do, will be rendered a TOTAL waste of energy and time, based on the PTR.
It would have been SMARTER to have them unusable and left at their max/changed state with “You do not have enough paragon points to use this item yet” - like others when playing multiple characters.
It basically means that many people will delete all the characters they put hard work into. It’s fine if people played one character, delete it end of season and start a new one, but not everyone does.
Not the brightest move on BLIZZARD’s part for a large component of players.
