Are bosses considered "Unstoppable" for purposes of "Exploiter's Aspect"

The description of the Exploiter’s aspect says “While Enemies are unstoppable, you deal X% increased damage to them”

Obviously my crowd control effects have no effect on bosses. So will they take an extra 40% damage from this aspect? Or is their “unstoppableness” inherent and unaffected?

this is a very popular discussion on reddit.

When enemies are unstoppable they have a little chain above them.

Bosses do not have this chain so you’re not going to get that affect

Bummer. Oh well. Thanks!

It is a very popular aspect in PVP as barbs are unstoppable most of the time and it will give you 40[x] damage against them.

I did actually test this in pvp against a willing barb friend and it really is 20[x] to 25[x].

Exploiters is also pretty nice in pve if you can fit it. Try it if you use lightning spear.

No, they’re not unstoppable. Bosses have their own immunity to CC until staggered; that’s all there is to it. Meaning, Exploiter’s aspect will not affect bosses at all.

That’s not entirely true. You won’t get the damage multiplier, but the increased CC duration helps drive their stagger bars up faster.

I haven’t seen a staggered bar in ages. I have seen a hota 1 shot though…

I mean seriously though people, don’t boss without a hota friend. Simple build strategy. Play whatever build you want as long as you conjure HOTA barb conjuration first.

Lol. Conjuration mastery is no longer +1%/2%/3% per active Conjuration spell. At three points, it now summons the closest metaboi^[tm] every 120 seconds

As far as I know Bosses never goes unstoppable… At least I never see the chain over them.
