Are all { BLIZZARD GAMES } released like this?

Like all other games, Games has a Final Boss.

D4’s Final Boss is Uber Lilith. Of course, at the highest difficulty, this Final Boss is hard to beat.

That’s why there’s game difficulties. There is WT1 and WT2. Most players has beaten the Campaign on WT2. That’s the game. It’s GG for them.

But if you are better than WT2, there is WT3 and WT4 for you.

WT3 has Sacred Armors. There are Nightmare Dungeons on it from NM1 to NM20. Its Final Boss is Capstone Elias. Beat him, and you would access WT4 Torment, the hardest difficulty of the game.

WT4 has Ancestral Armors. There are Nightmare Dungeons from NM21 to NM100. Its Final Boss is Uber Lilith (Echo of Lilith). Beat it and you could say you win the game.

My only issue is when ramping up from WT3 to WT4, it’s a bit hard. You would feel super powerful on WT3 and when you reach WT4, you might have a difficulty to kill its trash garbage mob/s. But once you overcome it, it would be okay. But NM100 and Uber Lilith is painful to a regular player… impossible for inexperienced player.

When you get one-shot killed on high NM dungeons on Torment WT4, it’s normal. It’s not bug’d. It’s a feature.

Good Luck.

Warcraft III was the most addictive and amazing game in their franchise. Dota was birthed from there which lead the way of MOBA as a new genres

Command and conquer sole survivor was the first MOBA.

As paid expansions in a game with a monthly sub and cosmetics

It was up until act 2 inferno. Then the real problems of D3 started to show. Part of that issue was the globally low drop rates on “good gear” which was done because the RMAH was flooded with good gear, and if people can easily buy it, then good gear wont matter if everyones getting it and can buy it. Since good gear was really hard, if not impossible to find via drops, only people with authenticators and RMAH purchases, and super lucky folk, had a reasonable time with this difficulty.

Obviously they fixed the one part, with much anger from people making a living selling drops. Yes it totally ruined trading, but their drop system made up for it, and I actually preferred it to POE trading, and still do.

The problem was after they fixed all this and had a fun game with rewarding drops, they sorta did nothing until ROS and then nothing after. It really was kind of an abandoned game for how long it ran. Consider how much content and work got pumped into POE, while it was still an indy company to boot…

D3 with rifts and the good drop systm was relaxing and fun to play. It was so easy to flip some skills around for a totally different gameplay loop, without needing to regear often, and it was so easy to pick a difficulty that felt right…no need to pass an annoyingly long capstone dungeon with an unfun boss at the end in order to earn a harder difficulty (god i hate this mechanic in D4)

Pard of D3’s fun was how elite packs worked, the affixes they had, which were easy to see and fun to avoid…and the combat wasnt plagued with resource starvation and CC chains.

Honestly, if i was to fire up a diablo, id likely choose D3 over D4 to chill out and farm stuff. For all the dissapointment D3 was over D2, it still remember playing it fondly, i have a lot of memories of a fun global chat, and grouping with random people…stuff you cant do in D4.

When Blizzard were independant, even when part of Vivendi, their standard was gold. YOu began to see things shortly after Activision merged with Vivendi, SC2 became a game plus 2 expansions to get what you had in SC1 (althought he combined SC2 is much larger than SC1). Then came the disaster that was D3 launch, that was the beginning of the end of the Blizzard gold standard, but even then they put resource into fixing it and many people(myself included) returned to playing it.
However, i see this as a bit of a nail in the coffin of the Blizzard name, sure we all know its Activision pulling the strings, but there was still that respect for the Blizzard name, but whatever was left of that has washed away.

They doing the same to D4 as they did to SC2 and worse. Splitting what you already had in D3 into multiple expansions in D4. I can see their plan chart now (in my head), first expansion was going to give expanded stash, LFG etc.

Sadly, even if they fix D4 to be the best of the series (whcih is impossible in my mind) any future Blizzard labeled games, poeople remember.

Overwatch 2016 was pretty awesome at launch…yes it needed some balance tweaks but overall a pretty good game at launch.

You are missing the most critical point in you initial statement = chosen topic, though you get back onto it within your wall of text:
No, Blizzard games were in a much better state.
But after the merging with ActiVision the quality surely took a huge hit.

It is simply appalling that Blizzard can’t process keyboard input without issues.
This is a great example of letting the nerds run the show, using new design software, and no serious beta testing or concern in quality.

He is somewhat right, because those events lead to the downfall.

However, it actually died when the controlling interest was purchased by activision from Vivendi in 2013 (we also lost Sierra too :frowning: ). Until then, blizzard had autonomy and was able to still control their roadmaps, services, games, etc.

After that, Vivendi was no longer the parent company, and you know who, has been calling the shots and ruining a great company ever since.

Yes its the new Blizzard since Activison. They just care about how much money games make in the release week(s) and the inGame shop.
Overwatch 2, 5 years after announcement they canceled PvE story 5 most of the players wanted this.
Diablo 4, 6 years after announcement and many feedbacks during beta, the QoL changes players asked for release they are holding back to release in S1, S2 and S3 because they have to EndGame and content for the Season only NM grinding….
WoW BFA and SL was not good. They did nothing with the potential of this two exp. DF is the right direction but class and spec design, M+ affix not good.
For all this Games, Class balancing is just terrible! Only two balancing patches beginn of a season and mid season. Yes all 3 games have a Big balancing issues.
Its sad how much Game potential the the through away because of leaders! They just care about Money not for good-great game and player experience.
Thats the new Blizzard

If you get a survey, fill that out because I feel like the devs don’t look at the forums at all. Too many people arguing and very little actual feedback.

There is a management cliche that says “you get what you reward”.

Until consumers, en masse, stop rewarding this behavior with money it will continue and companies will push as hard as they can until the consumers finally push back.

Like any other product they have firms that do proffesional advertising and everything looks good in a trailer or tv commercial.

Then add in people having not heard of much " Daiablo " new like myself and we jump on any diablo bone they throw us.

Momma says Pre orders are the debil. And the studios know ppl cant resist.

So between pre orders, nostalgia and PR firms making perfect teasers the average consumer is pretty much sunk.

" shut up and consume " sadly

And it shows it. The most feared words that you should know, “Built from the ground up”. Like a new vehicle or this game, all of the problems from the past can and will come back to haunt you as no past experience is used. In this case, the programmers working on this were green along with project managers. The problems with this game are so bad that no one can argue differently.
