Couldn’t find solid answer for question so going to ask. I bought on my Xbox for some simple couch gaming so my gf can just hang out and watch me, but I also am planning on buying for my pc as well. I’m sure I’ll end up playing way more on my pc than xbox, so the question is will my achievement progress carry over from pc to xbox? If I meet the requirement on pc, then go to xbox will it pop? I know general progress will but just curious if achieves will as well…

It does not seem like it. I played a lot on PC and when I loaded it on Xbox , no achievements.

Terminology here is important.
“Achievements” are tied to your Xbox account. If you’re not on an Xbox, you won’t see those achievements on another platform.
“Challenges” are essentially achievements within Diablo IV itself, and should show in the game interface regardless of which platform you’re on, as long as that platform is tied to your Battle.net account.
Is there any confirmation for achievements to unlock on xbox after completing the challenge for it on PC?
i completed the 1000 aberrant embers achievement on pc and i received the challenge … after collecting 1000 on xbox it still gave me the achievement … now i have the same problem with exploring the whole map … now with a new character I’m exploring the whole map on xbox again… hoping it works…
I don’t think so unfortunately. For instance, I completed the exploration of Sanctuar on my PC but didn’t get the Xbox achievement. I don’t know how to unlock it now.

They’re broken also. Like achievements for exploring the whole map or doing/collecting X amount of things. If you get some on your pc and then move to console to finish the task for the achievement it won’t pop.
This is an issue that needs attention from Blizzard and have the achievements/trophies unlock upon opening the game on console. Most from memory all other games have this support for their cross progression games.
Blizzard support does absolutely nothing about this. While we paid for the game twice. It’s just shameful.
