Arc Lash - DPS feels underwhelming outside of Unstable Currents

I am now level 92 and generally speaking, my AoE is on point and I can clear trash pretty quickly but when it comes to solo fights it feels like my arc lash is literally slapping feather in the faces of elites despite having a number of % increases against elites, vulnerablity etc.

I have pretty much followed the Max Rolls build to the T so I don’t know whether I am doing something wrong or Sorc just sucks in its current state.

Comparably, when in groups, when I am attacking elites my attacks are literally taking a percent or two off the enemies health bar and then a rogue or barb comes along and takes off 30-50% with one hit.

Meh.

Sorc damage is really bad. I’m working on uber lilith and tried both ice shard and arc build on her. Ice shard build damage is around 1/4 and arc is 1/5 of rogue’s damage. Yes i’m level 100 and bis gear but still can’t dps as a quarter damage of rogues.

Careful, they’ll just nerf Rogues instead of buffing Sorcs.

The damage outside UC is ok with large pulls and Frost Nova. But the actual answer is just to have more CDR and pick up the orbs to get even more CDR on UC.

But yeah you can’t really compare to Barb or Rogue outside UC and even then it’s on par or a bit less than them.
