I thought Blizzard was gonna prank me by fixing Furnace on spiritborn today–would have been a hell of a prank! But nay nay, i was not pranked by them fixing this bug, which, in turn, is a prank in of itself.

Y’know, this puts that Blizzcon attendee’s comment - with that backpack & those glasses back in 2018, asking about an “out of season April Fool’s joke” - in a different light. Maybe the whole thing is the joke, a truly subtle, meta-joke.
