I know this has been an ongoing issue for months, if not years. But, I am tired of my character flying across the map when trying to use leap. Pretty much unplayable on controller.

On PC holding movement helps, or it was so in previous seasons
I’ve never felt natural with Leap either. I tend to just use Charge for movement. I know that isn’t a great answer, but some abilities just don’t translate super well to controller unfortunately.
Soar got aim assist immediately but forget about leap we’ve been asking since launch
It’s really hard for me to play on console for sure. Between this and the inability to loot effectively on controller is an issue. I hope they fix it someday. I made the mistake of buying VoH on the console not realizing it wasn’t play anywhere so I don’t have it on PC atm because I don’t want to play twice. That was on me for not paying attention but the controller is an issue for sure. I will say Im an older game player so maybe that’s an issue as well.
I use an Xbox controller on both console and my PC. I changed to controller for D4 to get used to it for cross play . I’m kinda used to it. At a certain point you can pretty much go where you want. I just leveled using Dalkoras barb leveling build which uses charge and leap and it’s the most fun I’ve ever had leveling a barb on D4…
