Anyone running Windows 11 24H2 (new release)

I’m looking for anyone running this version of 11 to respond.

What I want to know:

  • Does Diablo IV run or not run since you updated TO Windows 11 24H2? (amended)
  • Are you using Bit Locker (drive encryption) that might be enabled after the update?
  • Are you running the game from the same drive as the OS or a different drive?

I will update this thread once I have more info.

From day one the game has locked up /Crashed /wicked lag/rubbed banded
It has been a nightmare with D4 and only …D4…I hope / Pray it will get better :slight_smile:

Unfortunately, you are not running the version of the OS as I’m looking for. I’m only interested in those that are running on 24H2 or that were, not earlier versions.

You may open your own thread and we can try to assist you there. It sounds like you have issues going back a while and may not be related to this specific issue I’m looking into.

I’m running 24h2 just fine. My motherboard doesn’t support drive encryption. Only have one drive.

I started getting BSOD on teleport today running 24H2. Last night was fine.

A lot of stuttering here with Windows 11 24h2 clean version.

I did the update yesterday, I can’t recommend it.
I have the game in max settings and capt on 80 fames. Since the 24h2 patch my 1 percent low FPS is at about 40 which leads to noticeable stutters. I’m using an AMD card and the latest driver that came out yesterday. Before the patch everything ran smoothly and without problems.

Update:
I did a rollback to 23h2 and what can I say, the game runs as before, completely smooth and without any stuttering.
My setup: RX7800XT and Ryzon 7700.

Update II:
Based on a recommendation, i did the 24h2 update again and uninstalled the graphics card driver using DDU to reinstall it cleanly, after which it now also runs in 24h2 as in 23h2.
FYI if you have the same problems.

I am and it runs great, not running bit locker and the game is on the same drive as the OS.
