Anyone got D4 on PC *AND* Playstation/Xbox?

I pre-purchased D4 on my PC and been playing since. Loving the game so far and certainly kills time(main reason I got the game), however, recently I’ve noticed that I barely touch my PS5 (devastating I know).
Initially, I thought by purchasing the game it will unlock the game in every systems, sadly I was not right. sniffs sniffs
Needless to say I wouldn’t mind having the game on PS5 as well as PC, but I am never a fan of joysticks / controllers, in fact I play D4 on my PC using nothing but my trusty PvP dedicated multi-button mouse.

I feel like having the game both for PC / console will enhance my experience especially for leisure.

My question is:

Is there anyone out there who has the game for more than 1 system? And if so, which one do you lean more toward to and why?

I plan to get it on PS5 whenever it goes on sale. Paying for 2 full price copies of the same game just feels silly.

But yeah for my slower HC playthroughs playing on PS5 sounds nice.

I get buying it on pc after buying it on console, but i can’t fathom why anyone eould want to buy it on console after buying on pc, unless they had couch co-op plans.

I could get D4 on console, but my PC runs circles around an XBox or PS5.

My brother and I play on PC and another on Xbox.

I personally prefer mouse & keyboard but the movement with the controller is superior.

Fortunately they added a bind key to force move so I can wasd my movement and it is much more fluid than click to move

Who thought it would be a good idea to give the next gen consoles 16GB of shared memory for 4k gaming?

I have a PS5 that I use for Playstation “exclusive” games like God of War, The Last of Us, Death Stranding, Horizon Forbidden West etc… but this game is definitely just way better on PC. I tried the game on PS5 during server slam but the way higher input lag and inconsistent textures turned me off. Also have to pay for PS Plus nah no thanks. I just use Dualsense + keyboard + mouse on PC since the controller support is so good.

I got it on pc then bought it for Xbox after I got sick and couldn’t sit at my desk that long. So been on console for around 3 weeks and depending on class it’s ok. Picking up loot especially when you aren’t trying to pick up gems, trying to rez and upgrade glyphs are hard because of targeting if there is an enemy under the bubble you have to kill him first if he is in the way. And rouge ranged I couldn’t get use to on controller. But the death trap twisting blades build works fine on console.

yes this explains everything I wanted to know

If you are concerned about playing the game with a controller instead of a kb+mouse, then you can do that just on your pc and check out if you are fine with it.
Works just like on the consoles, there is no difference.

Sometimes you just wanna chill on the couch with your dog while you play instead of being stuck on a stiff chair.

That makes sense, not everyone has the space or funds for a more flexible pc setup, and buying a console can definitely be a cost/convenience competitive option. Too bad dog can’t play coop, it would be perfect.

There is always the alternative with the Steam Deck, in case you have it. The benefit is, you dont have to throw money at them again for another copy of the game.
The game runs actually pretty good on it and you can just chill somewhere, as long as you have a wifi connection lol
Docked to your TV is another thing, the performance suffers from that, so only handheld works well.

I was waiting for this game to come out to buy a PS5 so i bought my ps5 right after D4 came out. The next two games I bought for my ps5 was the diablo collection with D2 and D3 lol

I used to play a lot of mmos like wow on my Laptop but more and more I find myself not gaming on my PC. I sit at a desk all day for work and last thing I wanan do is sit at a desk all night again. I like sitting on my rocking chair playing ps5 it’s easier on my
Old back these days and I can put my
Feet up too

Or the space. Just can’t really turn my office into a lounge.

i got it on pc and ps 5, you carry over any progress between, so if you are level 100 sorcercer on pc, you can use the same on your ps5, however no keyboard/mouse support for console

Yes, Xbox and PC.

Both are great - I would choose Xbox X over the PC version unless your PC can run the game on 4K.

The game plays better on controller than MKB I think.

Yeah basically pretty much this reason why I wanna get it on console
