Has there been any mention of what season 9 will be? I just finished my reliquary and season today. Not sure ill continue this season

I’m hopeful about the Nightmare Dungeons changes. I’m pretty sure it’ll be a cheap, low effort attempt at improving it. Probably another underhanded push for more profit from the shop, somehow.
But I do have a tiny flicker of hope.

Same, the dungeon rework (or dungeon 2.0 feature whatever) is the one thing that gave me biggest hope/s of things improving… We’ll see

I’m actually pretty excited about some Horadric powers. I can’t wait to see what the cosmetics look like as well. It’s also inspired me to level up some characters in HC so that I can get the Horadric Tack.
Season 8 is probably going to be my last for a while. Not because I am not liking it… I’m actually having a blast with the boss powers on my sorc.
It’s because I gotta prep for WoW MoP classic. LOL
It would be nice if it wasn’t more recycled and renamed content. Do a few lame quests then grind the same mind-numbing content over and over for recycled and renamed buffs. But, HEY, we got a new battlepass.
Some of us expect better from a AAA game company. If you are fine with planned mediocrity there is nothing wrong with that.
They will fix three pages of bugs.
Nerf builds at week two.
Introduce four pages of new bugs.

Yes S9 will have as much testing as S8 had.

I personally expect more from expansions, not from seasons.
The first expansion did not deliver at all, but due to how they were reworking the entire game while working on it I give them a pass.
Expectations for next year are definitely high for me.

It’s their opportunity to finally introduce Deckard Cain’s ghost and give him a gandalf like role.
Also to bring back both the horadric cube and Kanai’s cube.
