Any way to remove the Sorcerer necklace with the pentagram?

Is there any way to remove (visually) that necklace with the upside down / inverted (which is the main this I have a problem with) pentagram from the sorcerer?

EDIT/UPDATE:
My character is fighting evil/demons/hell, so why am I wearing a symbol that represents it?

Also, to everyone, thanks for all the replies, I mean that, but can you please keep on topic? I really don’t want to turn this into a gun or general religion debate. Thank you.

All I (and I think a % of the gaming community) want is the choice to disable/not show that symbol (for whatever personal reason you have, real world religion, role playing etc). That way, everyone’s happy, people who want to have it, will show the symbol, people who don’t, won’t.

Isn’t that reasonable?

EDIT/UPDATE 2:
A good solution (but I would image this would be more work than a simple option to hide it) would be to make the necklace (for any class/character) part of the jewellery system. This will let people wear/show whatever necklace they want, or none.

E.G. A Necro could wear the upside down pentagram. A Barb could wear the current Necro necklace etc.

EDIT/UPDATE 3
Just to be clear, I don’t have a problem with the pentagram, just the upside down / inverted pentagram (specifically on a character we’re playing, not in the game in general).

That’s odd. My Sorcerer doesn’t have a British folk rock band around his neck. Must be a bug.

Opps, I meant pentagram. Thanks

I am also wondering the same thing. It doesn’t even make sense from a lore perspective or an occult perspective to have an upside pentagram on a sorcerer. In occultist circles, a right-side up pentagram represented the elemental magics: fire, water, earth, lightning and spirit at the top. The upside down pentagram represented dark magic (aka more akin to necromancy) so it doesn’t even make lore sense for the sorcerer to be wearing an upside down pentagram. It even makes less sense in the game when you look back at Diablo II and see that that symbol represented Diablo and hell. Why would an elementalist mage who is fighting against hell wear the symbol of hell? In real life, that symbol represents the church of satan so something tells me a blizzard dev did it to be edgy and show off his hate for Christians. Makes me want to refund the game and sell all of my blizzard stock.

Yeah, it doesn’t fit into what a sorcerer is.

Liberals hate God :frowning:

Disagree, magic is always dark. There is no “good” or “light” magic, thats nonsense.

I disagree. The sorcerer uses magic to control and summon elements. He or she can use this power for good or evil. The upside down pentagram is a symbol of evil or demonic or death magic.

It really doesn’t fit in with what the sorcerer is all about.

I agree, doesn’t make sense, plus options are always welcome.

The Diablo universe is different than our IRL lore. Like, Lilith is not the same Lilith of the Talmud. So these things don’t have such representations within the game.

Lol, you don’t know the lore of Diablo Sorcerer’s do you?

They learned magic from demons.

That’s easily disproven by looking at the Diablo 1 wiki.

“While the Vizjerei sorcerers had a long history of practicing the elemental magicks, they are most notable for the two renegade magi, Horazon and Bartuc, who experimented with demonic magic that tore the Vizjerei apart. Bartuc sought to ally himself with the forces of Evil while Horazon enslaved demons to his will.”

It says here that sorcery existed long before renegade mages experimented with demonic magic. It literally distinguishes elemental and demonic magicks from eachother and sorcerers that did demonic magic rather than elemental magic were outcasts. What types of sorceries are mages doing in Diablo IV? Elemental

That’s true but even within the Diablo universe, it doesn’t make any sense going by the lore of the Diablo I and II. Why would a champion fighting against hell wear the emblem of hell?

In the Lore they were summoning Demons to learn powerful magic from them. Horazon thought he could control the demons and eventually was overpowered. Which lead to a slaughter.

The Prime Evils learned of sanctuary’s existence thanks to some mage clans messing around and summoning some demons.

All I’m asking for is an option to disable it. So people who want to play a Sorcerer with an upside down pentagram can if they want and people, like me, who don’t want that kind of symbol can play the game without it.

That’s fair, isn’t it?

I am surprised it wasn’t in the jewelry selection options.

Magic is neither dark nor light. It is just energy or potential. It’s not like a gun that has only one purpose.
