Any real difference between t1 and t4

Is there any difference other then monster exp difficulty between them? I haven really noticed much difference loot wise

While I didn’t see any 2GA+ until I got to at least T3 now playing on T4 doesn’t seem to have increased the amount of useful 1GAs that I see drop.

That’s just anecdotal though. I didn’t keep track of actual GA drop % as I spent so little time working my way to T4.

The only difference is the amount of loot, not the quality.

If you play a different class than spiritborn you will notice a massive difference in the change from t1 to t4

Yeah T1-2 is pretty nice for any class, T3 can be dicey at times, T4 is pretty much SB territory or maxed uber GA geared classes with some strong builds

t4 is made for Spiritborn. Most play t3 while other classes in t4 are using bugged builds and being carried by Sb till they can manage t4 somewhat.
A very few are using old builds that were always overpowered to survive t4 but really, the loot is not great…likely only see an improvement in tormented bosses.

Not really.

You get more gold and experience and you see increase drop amounts. Meaning for example if a boss would drop 4 items on T1 it would drop 7 on T4 (or whatever the actual numbers are).

So statistically you would have a higher chance at seeing better loot on T4 due to quantity but the quality of the drops remains the same.

T1 has the same loot tables as T4 and from what I have seen have the same drop chance, it’s just since you have extra rolls on T4 you’ll see better things more often, but it’s still the same odds to find ancestral/mythic per roll.

Neither Runes nor mythics drop in either for me so I don’t see much difference at all. I did 5 duriels in a row earlier without a single ancestral drop. Not that I need anything from him but when I was salvaging the loot I did notice it.

I made a random Mythic. I don’t expect one to drop, but somehow I had 2 shards. I thought the season journey gave you one.

But I love the one I got randomly Shroud of False Death.
I put it on my lvl47 barb and now I can walkaround helltides and look at my map whenever I want and nothing bothers me.

I know how to play the game, I just don’t have the time to invest. That being said, I haven’t found one ‘mythic’ since the games release…and I’m supposed to start over every 3 months?

Who is this game for again? Gamers or professional gamers?

Ladder boss drop more items so you get better chance of Mythic. Those boss which drop summoning mats will drop extra at T4. Exp gain is higher at T4.

its just the amount of loot. not the quality. if t4 is too rough yet for you and you need too long to get stuff done, there really isnt an issue with sticking to a lower tier for the increased kill speed.

The amount of loot increases, so more chances of getting 4 GA’s. So of course everyone should be playing on T4 once your equipment can carry you there.

I’ve never gone beyond Torment 1 and I’m up to 180 on the paragon board. I haven’t seen a single good reason to move to a more difficult level. This part, at least, is something Blizzard got right.

We (the SBs) saw a druid today at a maiden event in helltides. A lost soul for sure. We complimented him out of the dangerous area with a friendly voice.

Indeed nice and fluffy he was. :bear:

i mean its really just something to consider if you are doing more than fine in your current tier. If the next higher tier leads to you struggeling, or taking considerably more time, its for sure good to stay in t1.

I guess maybe that was supposed to be humor but weird how it sounds like bragging about choosing easy mode. It’s a weird flex but you do you.

No flex intended, no small fluffy animals where harmed writing this. Only a bit of joking.
After the Sb experience i will happily play my filthy unwashed rogue i already created.
