is your game installed on an SSD?

No, but that shouldn’t make any difference. Never had this before, and only started in last week or so.

Waiting 20+ seconds to go from waypoint to waypoint or TP out of a dungeon with that stupid panning “vanity shot” of your toon is NOT on.

and my SSD’s health is tip top.

it does make a difference. the minimum system requirement for d4 is an SSD. loading times are longer on HDD.

Same issue and I’ve got a 1 terrabyte SSD & A 2 terrabyte as well windows 10 installed on the 1 terrabyte everything else on the 2 terrabyte

Playing on Xbox Serious X (the better Pc) no loading screen is longer than a handful of seconds. Im always happy about how fast everything is loading.

It makes a huge difference. That’s why having an SSD is a minimum requirement now.

except we’ve already just established it also happens on SSD. so it’s a game problem, not a drive problem.

Maybe a helping hand for quicker swapping of the 5 1/4 discs will help. And the hamster powering the 9k modem is hungry too. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It makes a massive difference. You prob also get shuttering loading zone as well and think its lag. One of the reasons an SSD id a minimum requirement for the game.

Go get an SSD it will make all the difference.

This, also because everything is being developed with SSDs in mind cause no gaming PC comes with a HDD now.

except we’ve already established you’re too busy playing the forum to even play the game - already over 100 posts in the past 1-2 days, so…stick to topics that pertain to the forum, not the game.

what a weird reply. why does it concern you what i do in my time. do you want to play with me? do you need a carry?

I suspect some of the forum dwellers work for the company. It’s like how companies manage product reviews on their products (like a company named after a major region/river, cough) and you wind up with questionable reviews/statements and a majority of them are that way.

There has been an uptick in players, it’s easily noticeable if you’ve been playing (like me) from before, at and since season start. I suspect the hamsters are struggling to keep pace.

I have the exact same hardware set up as my friend (except I have an SSD and she doesn’t) because reasons, and we have similar internet and her stuff takes…maybe 20-30 seconds longer to load than mine. It might be the SSD but it could be your internet or another chokepoint within your PC.

awww poor theng can dish it but can’t take it. I don’t need an online armory to tell me you couldn’t carry a lvl1 Diablo newb.
