Grim Dawn is the spiritual successor to Diablo 2.

POE but there are a ton of things you have to learn to wrap your head around before you can enjoy the game.
Diablo 2 is a good one!
Median XL or PoE are pretty decent

I’d say D3 if you want a simple straight forward aRPG. It really has become a quality game.
If you want something that takes a little more effort, and time, try Grim Dawn. Brilliant game IMO.
Wolcen is pretty shallow, but it kept my attention long enough for a playthrough.
If you want to require a degree in accounting and not have any pants for half the game POE might be right up your alley.
Not sure if that’s tongue in cheek or not but Grim Dawn was made by a bunch of guys from the dev. team that made Titan Quest. Not a spiritual successor to D2.
Edit: Oh, another ARPG to check out is Wolcen.
No LE is pure trash. That eternal early-access bugfest is not worth even half the price. Don’t recommend that garbage! Dead game (dropping to double digit player count), ugly models, boring combat. Huge pile of doo-doo.

Grim Dawn, Titan Quest (older game but still great), Path of Exile, Last Epoch, Inquistor Marty is interesting despite it’s mixed reviews, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 1-2, D2R, Hades and Bastion are great too!
If you don’t mind going real old school Nox, Revenant, Diablo 1, Torchlight 1-2
No quite arpgs, but if you don’t mind party based action games, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate 1-2, Planetscape: Torment, Knights of the Old Republic are all really good despite their age. Wasteland 3, Divinity Orginal Sin 1-2 if you like that style but want something more modern.
Not an arpg, but a shooter rpg, Remnant 2 comes out in a few days. Great co-op fun. Then you got Baldurs Gate 3 in a few weeks as well.
A great game for sure. I got bored of it, but it gave me a couple hundred hours of enjoyment.
