Any form of ladder in seasons?

Ive read whats in store for the S1 of D4, I feel excited about the most part of it.

However why on earth did you not implement any form of ladder for the seasons? For NM dungeons for example? Ive played all Diablo games since their release and I love the franchise.

What I loved the most about D3 for example was the grind + hunt for powerful items so that I became more powerful for pushing that next GR tier even further… now what I am pushing/hunting for? The Battle Pass?

Where is the competitive play?
Dont tell me its PvP… unbalanced joke.

I have tried to find information about whether you guys are going to implement ladders in D4 or not but I cant find any credible info on it.

Here is me hoping for a blue answer. This topic is also for the community, if you’ve heard anything about this please let me know.

Thanks

Gotta wait til season 3

They didn’t finish Diablo 4 so we have to wait a few seasons.

It was known well before launch that leaderboards wouldn’t be up until s3.

Who forced you to buy the game at release?

I have a life, I guess I missed the memo. Oh well. So sad how people defend this game.

Who forced you to put that person down. Not everyone follows blizzard like they are a secret lover from 3rd grade

My apologies, fragile :snowflake:. That’s putting someone down?

Is that an attempt at hypocrisy I smell?

Well, I won’t cry about it. I’ll simply point out that there were 3 open beta weekends giving you a chance to play the game, for free, before release.

There’s also a number of sites that collected and organized all the info we knew about the game beforehand.

It’s weird that everyone who insists their $70 is so precious to them apparently bought the game with no attempt at research whatsoever.

Leaderboards do not start until at least Season 3 they said. The info was on one of the live streams/interviews before game release.

Blizzard master of releasing half a game at launch and then taking months to make changes. Like resistances not working is a major issue but lets launch the season anyways. 5 months to fix resistances and 8 months to implement a ladder seems silly. What do blizzard employees do at work?

Good for you, continue thinking you are better than everyone else because you played a beta and follows some news clippings.

I’m not jumping to the defense of someone crying that feature x is in the works. So, at a minimum, better than you. Happy to take that.

Everyone else? No. Never said I was.

I never made the thread in the first place, I don’t care about leaderboards, but to sit here and act like everyone gamer that plays this game should know every little detail that blizzard has stated either in the past before the game came out or not means you are a jerk. You act like you are some high mighty person that has all the answers and everyone should too, this is what is wrong with this community, you can’t ask questions, can’t express opinions, just YES MASTER BLIZZARSD YOU ARE DOING GREAT GOOD JOB SCREWING THE FOMO FOR PEOPLE THAT WAS REALLY FUNNY MAUBE WE CAN DO THIS WEEKY AND MAKE AN EVENY OUT OF IT

You know what’s truly sad?

People who buy something WITHOUT DOING ANY RESEARCH FIRST, then get butthurt that the game isn’t what they wanted it to be, and damn the facts entirely.

Stop acting like having a blizzard shrine in your closet is normal

Right after you stop pretending like anyone who doesn’t foam at the mouth with sufficient hate for Blizzard, necessarily has Blizzard-branded kneepads and no gag reflex.

Any product or service you buy, from any manufacturor, developer, or provider … it’s 100% on you to know about that product BEFORE you put your money on the counter.

As the saying goes, CAVEAT EMPTOR; “let the buyer beware”.

Funny you sit there and say that while you are sucking down that sweet sweet blizzard copium

Pizza, actually. Late lunch.

Meanwhile, you’re proving to be an inhuman contortionist in your efforts to twist and turn in whatever way is needed to avoid the simple, basic truth:

You should have known that there would be no ladders until Season 3.

Your failure to do your basic due diligence before making a $70+ purchase, does not constitute a failing for anyone except yourself.

I DID KNOW THAT SEASON 3 WAS LEADERBOARDS GO BACK AND LOOK WHAY I SAID JERK. But you sit here thinking you are the one with all the info and think you are better than anyone who doesn’t. It’s clear you just pick on people because it makes you feel like you are in control.

I’m not sure you understand what the word ‘cope’ means. Perhaps you’ve spent so much of your time using it reflexively to put down anyone who disagrees with you that you’ve forgotten.

We aren’t coping. We bought a product and enjoy that product.

You want every game to receive no post-release patches or development work. Why you bought a blizzard game to begin with, I have no idea, as Blizzard games have always had numerous post-release improvements. Every, single, one.

I didn’t say any of that, but thanks for speaking for me.
