Another Game Crashing thread

Most likely if you are reading this your having the same issue. I’ve tried using older drivers with DDU for clean uninstall, changing cross play, complete reset of my pc with formatting of hard drive, and many other things from reading the forums which i was instructed to do in my ticket response message below. Got to be the worst kind of technical support advice when most people would need to know what I’m running and semi invasive information to my “personal” computer in order to really help me or in order to find the issue and report it to the team that can actually fix it. This whole technical support process is kind of wild to me in general I’m not gonna lie lol if you even want to call this “technical” support. Might as well be peer to peer support since the only support i received from blizzard was a link to the standard stuff to do like click scan and repair and uninstall and reinstall. Then next message was “ask my fellow wanderers” The best part is the mention of Call of Duty.

Hello,

Response:
It did not work and i have done all of the steps above there are people already in the forums with crashing issues that haven’t received a fix to the issue or some have worked for some people and not for others. I have tried some of the resolutions people have offered and i am still having the issue.

Greetings

Thank you for reaching out and taking the time to follow the provided steps. I’m sorry they didn’t resolve the issue you’re experiencing. It’s frustrating when troubleshooting steps don’t fix a problem.

Since you’ve exhausted the steps available through customer support, the next best course is to seek assistance from the broader community through forums, consult with a local tech expert, or contact your Internet Service Provider if you suspect a connection issue. Sometimes, the issue might require more specialized knowledge or diagnostics tools that aren’t readily available through our standard support channels.

Contact Activision Support if you’re experiencing issues with playing/launching any Call of Duty game.

Our forums can be a great resource, as knowledgeable community members often encounter similar issues and can offer helpful advice or solutions.

Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

The only thing I can think of right now is they know about it and it’s so serious that they run risks by aknowledging it.

Well that’s sad to hear.

I got the same copy pased answer … tech support is a freaking joke

Why don’t you try an in-place upgrade?
