Running helltides on t10 just blasting no issues its so easy. Then suddenly insta dead, no indication to what killed me, the only thing it says in the chat is this:
“Hell’s hatred is satiated”

sounds like you were killed by player, theres a bug i believe. are you a barb? was there a warlock near you
I was just blasting it’s entirely possible that a warlock was there as I was out in the open world, didn’t know about the bug so that really sucks…
could be worse i just lost my toon to the training dummy to some bug

Similar thing happened to me. HC necro in torment 5. My first HC character this season. Built her very tanky. I made the conservative decision to stay on T5 and farm mats for a bit even though I had unlocked T7 in the pit.
Just had a shako drop from my first mythic tribute so I equipped that to be even more safe.
There I am farming hell tide. Health not even moving at all, fully fortified and boom one shot. I didn’t even see what killed me.
- I don’t think we should be getting 1 shot while doing trivial content like this.
- They need to let us see what actually killed us so we can learn from it or report it as a bug.
I will not be playing hardcore until they make improvements because really what is the point if you are just gonna die to random 1 shots that are seemingly out of your control.
I just want to add that I had not unlocked bloodseekers. I see that getting mentioned in other posts. I had only unlocked the worm/maggots.

are you running bloodseekers in helltide activity tree? avoid this at all costs, they sometimes will kill you unless you run immortal barb.
There’s some sort of bug with warlocks if you play as barb, if a warlock is nearby you might get randomly stunned even if you are unstopable (iron skin etc). it might have to do if the other person is using aspect of retribution, so not exclusive to warlocks but they do run retribution mostly
there’s another bug involving barb’s ancients and necromancers that reflect the damage you do back to you and insta kills you since barbs be doing billions/trillons of damage

Probably the Aspect on the Warlock is cc-ing mobs, which means your cc abilities won’t work. There are some seconds of time after a cc wears off on a mob that they can’t be cc’d again. One can;t control mobs on HC like this, unless you know you abilities will do exactly what you need and when. Maybe turn off crossplay?
