Anorexia - Can we make Necromancer have body types to get a bit more meat on their bones?

As someone who has battled eating disorders NGL a huge factor in why I can’t play the Necromancer is because they remind me of how I did.

At one point my rib cage was showing and I was proud of it and I was so sickly, so unhealthy and ALWAYS tired.

Just asking for an option to be a bit healthier. I get it I get it “necromancers meant to be creepy” but if they are an all powerful necromancer surely they can be powerful enough to get food.

Not trying to be a jerk or offensive. Just is a big big big turn off of me ever playing it. Makes me super uncomfortable.

Agreed, a priest of Rathma does not need to be emaciated. They can be relatively fit too.

They need this for all classes. Druid is unplayable for me and while I can tolerate necro I won’t be buying her cosmetics unless they come with some food for her.

Why not let me play as a fat sorc if I want? Or a super skinny rouge who’s lived on the streets her whole life struggling to survive ?

The dev team talked so much about play choice and playing your character but we can’t. No way it is fixed by launch but I hope people keep talking about it so maybe in the future they give us options. Would increase their profit allowing people to make a character they like because people are more likely to buy cosmetics when they can make the character they actually want to play.

Necromancer males remind me of Kyle from Road Trip, or the pasty caddy from Happy Gilmore.

Where’s my muscle Necro?

Ask a druid to feed you.

No. Necromancy is rough on the body. Want to be plump go with nature magic.

Necro is slim because Druid ate it all. Only bones remained.

Or its high time Blizzard adds a body size slider. We are trying to be so inclusive with gender and race but not body types? I have vitiligo… This is the first game I have seen to have that as a skin option. But I don’t feel represented or care that it is even there. I mean neat that it is but literally couldnt care less if it was removed tomorrow… But like looking at world of warcarft and something like Kultirans we run into anorexic NPCs and THICC npcs never an average size NPC but we can only play as the THICC model not a choice between the anorexic or thicc.

I am in disagreement with this post

The necro at least looks like the lore. Siphons his soul to kill. The druid has done a full 360.

Did they delete the giant thread about this or did you see there was a related thread and still make a new one?

necros are powered by drugs ? idk

female druid honey boo boo and wall necro lol

Necromancy is not meant to be fun experience. The practice is a huge toll on thr body. Itll break immersion if they look healthy. The way they are now is fine. No change needed.

i just wish it was slightly easier to tell what is male or female by the models some look questionable at best

Necromancers are gaunt, emaciated, sweaty, and twitching because the power they wield has ravaged their bodies.

It isn’t because they have an eating disorder. Not everything is about you.

They need to be skinnier. Either way this ever-repeating topic should be the least of the worries in the game. If my class is bones or the next my 600lb life star, as long as gameplay and endgame are golden none of it matters.

We really should have body choices especially with how they raved about player choice and make the characters you want. I really really hope they don’t stick to their silhouette for class philosophy. It is dated and lazy concept and does nothing but upset players and make them lose money due to people not buying skins because they don’t want to play a class based on their forced appearance.

Then why does my necro have the silkiest smooth accent. Its like if he wasnt raising the dead he would be crooning old ladies in a night club. Blizzard made them into smack addict Michael Buble`.
