I have an idea for lore to have away to bring the angels back as they where are. So the demons when they die just go back to hell and there reborn, but the angels born when the spire makes a tune the angels born. So when they die they’re just gone. What if down the line the someone human or angel figure out that humans make music and the spire is jsut a tuning fork that is not being used. Now we have a way to bring back and re enforce the angels and bring back our favorite daddy tyrial because we all know if hes mortal hes dead by D4. It just seems to me at lest the angels back story gives them a real disadvantage to the demons and there forces. This is just a thought could be a fun theme to have music and tunes for diablo thoughts?
Angels dont cease to exist when “killed”, they,like a demon, have their essence dispersed and over time it like coalesces and the the spire vibrations reform the angel,and demons reform in the burning hells. At least its been my understanding since D3. This is why it was called the Eternal War,as each side never lost anyone truly,as they eventually reform back at their respective realms. Thats what happened to Tyrael. At start of D3 we see him reform in heaven after his sacrifice on mt arreat. It took him years to gather is essence enough for spire to pick up or something, his vibrations and brought him back or reformed him or w.e.
