And so it begins

The beginning of the new Diablo 4 starts ( May 14 at 10 a.m. PT)

Some might say it’s too easy, but alas this is just the beginning of a new base vanilla version of the game. It can get much much harder as time goes on with far more options for build variability and complexity.

Time for 1,000% damage Druid wolves build mixed with rabies… why? CAUSE I CAN! Wooooooooooooooo

Time to pull out the mint oreos

I’m gonna need to see the receipts on that.

Im also skeptical on this. I wouldn’t say there’s a lot more options, just more viable options. Minion Necros aren’t anything new for example, they’re just far more viable now. Definitely a lot of options with the tempering affixes though.

I actually logged on today just to play a little on a new Meteor sorc I rolled just before I quit playing. I found that Starfell Helmet but I played about 30 minutes and realised Im just going to wait until the new patch to play again as the sorc I rolled is only level 33. Didnt have the energy to even level to 60 so i could use it… But Im ready in 9 days to try again …

I was never a minion build lover to begin with - but with S4 it actually makes me want to play a minion build. So, the hype is real.

Pretty sure more builds seem viable BECAUSE it is too easy.
The harder it gets the less options you will have with viability.

I will counter your Mint Oreos with Cheeto Puffs…

My Sorcerer is Ready :triumph:

Servers will probably be fine, but if they wait to the last possible moment to allow downloads, like they’ve been doing, that’s going to suck.

nah, every season its been 1hr before season start patch releases. download and install usually takes 5-15mins. then 45mins to get eternal stash squared away before start of season.

It’s only 8 days now! (EU)

Prepare yourselves for the inevitable complaints here and on social media, too. Like it’s never happened before…

Agreed. I haven’t touched this build yet, but I’ve played plenty of minion based builds through Diablo and other ARPGs. It should be fun to play, tho, now that it’s more viable to push.

“Deluded” is the person who will complain and still play the game anyway. Or, if you’re not playing this game, I’d also say not playing and commenting on these forums is also delusional. Take your pick, I guess.

My mind is all over place, one day I wanna play barb, next day I wanna play necro, next day sorc… the only one I am sure I will not play is the rogue.

I’m probably gonna play an evasion Rogue (see how new Dodge % works with all the “on dodge” stuff and Fortify) and see if I can find some ways to reliably use Overpower

If that doesn’t work then will attempt getting the new item (Bow was it ?) which makes Rapid fire lobbing explosions, should be fun

Other than that maybe try the same 3x conjuration Sorc I tried at PTR (with Tenuous Destruction and Battlecaster)

I too will be playing Diabetic…I mean Druid. :stuck_out_tongue:
I think this is my true natural class, it is designed so well, no more Sorc.

Honestly haven’t tried much of the druid, Last I did I got it to level 25. Mostly played rogue and a Sorc / Barb for a season. Minion Mancer is appealing to me, but i wanna be a CHONK BOY

I made one on Eternal to try out some theory craft (Nature’s Fury-Pulverize ). Honestly love it. Gonna play a different theory build in season but have a really solid build to fall back on.
I was the same never got past lvl31 on this before.
