And I'm done for now

So cleared section 6 of the season journey last night. I’m done. While this season has some nice additions, the seasonal mechaics simply aren’t very fun for me. The difficulty in getting gear for my build hasn’t been fun either. The lair boss changes have been challenging, but the rewards simply aren’t worth repeated boss fights.

Going to chill in eternal until next season. Probably play some more Helldivers 2 as things are ramping up there.

Its been a week and a bit since S8 started. What do you want?

This season is one of the most played by me since they balanced the xp, drop, etc in a matter that…well…makes sense in ARPGs.

If a season can keep your average players 3 …or even 4 weeks, then that’s very good. Hope it can keep me that much!

I would like even more rare loot / drops / etc for some items., but that’s just me!

The Berserk event didnt bring any people to the game. Steam stats show that numbers are slowly declining.

Why did you ever stop playing an amazing game like Helldivers 2 to come here and play another season?

Thanks for the update.

I wish you the best but I keep hearing “difficulty in getting gear”.

I wish I knew what people were doing with their time in the game because I’ve geared 3 lvl 60 characters now and I only get to play in the evenings due to work/kids/family stuff.

it’s hardly an event - just a bunch of overpriced skins!!

give me a cache of 100 mythics also no mood to start the game.

Add another one to the long list. Not even 2 weeks.

Just off the top of my head:

  1. A more interesting story. It felt like an abrupt end and that there was more there. Needs a teaser if there will be a sequel.
  2. Better seasonal mechanics. The powers were OK, but weren’t very imaginative. Nothing really grabbed me.
  3. More variety of seasonal gameplay. Having only one activity during 1-60 burned me out pretty hard on incursions. Season 7 had a variety of activities in the green helltides.
  4. Better variety of viable builds. Had multiple friends abandon their characters to make blood wave necro. Poop waves everywhere!
  5. Better target farming. I’m a cataclysm druid pushing T4 with no key ancestral uniques to fill out the build. Got tired of running the same bosses over and over with no rewards. Most of my ancestral uniques came from other sources.

I am shocked! Shocked, I say!

OP is under the mistaken belief that people care…

They do need to improve the drops on those bosses. Upping the boss difficulty and adding mechanics was the right call, but now they need to make the drops worth time and effort.

season of greed and incompetence.

You poor thing, are you upset a company offers an optional product? Will you be ok little one?

i mean… the season is still fresh… How much loot do people want to be satisfied? i mean clearly you said you are pretty much finished with the season ^^

My first character is pretty much done now too. Unlike s7, im willing to get a toon rolling tho, so thats a win for me for sure in s8.

There’s this thing that many companies like called feedback. It can help them improve their product and increase profits. I know this is a complex concept for you, but I believe you can grasp it if you really try.

I went back to eternal instead. More tools to work with. And everything needs adjustments to reflect the new difficulty in lair bosses and pits.

Uh man I agree with him the cost isn’t worth the reward I’ll get my remaining stones for the new rewards tomorrow then chill in eternal If the bosses are harder with new mechanics then the reward should be greater. I agree with everybody having to open the loot chest that keeps it fair but 750s? Oh HECK NO So to answer your question what I would like to see is more balance in the system
