I think the game is pretty neat as is, needs fixes admittedly and I’m sure it’ll be better with time, but I doubt it’ll be GOTY.

Baldurs gate has more user reviews than Diablo 4 and is highly rated vs this game with 2.0 user score. Its sad really how shallow this game is compared to others in its genre.
Diablo 4 has a ton of issues not just some. I am talking 100s of issues that you are blind to.
Diablo 4 is not a sandbox like do you even know what you are talking about.

Broaden your knowledge please, Diablo 4 is a single player online only campaign game with 0 end game.
This is why the game is so shallow because they have to cater to consoles and other requirements that the consoles games have to be in. If not they would destory the consoles with over powered graphics or other intensive tasks that a PC can handle but trash consoles cant. This is also why we have to wait minimum of 2 weeks before any major patch gets deployed as they have to get approval from Microsoft and Playstation before they can release it.
Game is only getting worse please stop your lying.
This game wont win any awards other than fastest game released that people stopped playing. less than 3 months in and already lost 2/3rds or more of the player base.

Exiled and I have our differences in opinions, but honestly this is a case of two things:
1.) Attracting more flies with honey
2.) Acting like an adult
I don’t know why you’d WANT to attract flies, maybe you have a pet spider or something. But the golden rule really does work. I’ve disagreed with Exile many times, even within this exact topic, and we still cool. Or at least, I think we’re cool. Exile, we cool right?
But if you KNOW you disagree with someone, why enter their topic? Put them on your ignore list. That way even if you accidentally click on the topic, you’ll see the content is hidden, and you’ll know “oh snap, I don’t want to be in here” and you can leave.
No fuss, no muss. Act like an adult, treat others with respect, and the world is just that tiny bit nicer for a few minutes.

To stop people from reading their lies. Dude started a topic about PoE and played 5 minutes of the game has 0 idea about its end game or many of its other engaging activities.
Why so he can continue to spread lies? I have starfield and the game is 100x better than Diablo 4 but he continues to come on here starting another topic yet again about Starfield being broken etc. I play on all ultra settings and haven’t had a single issue. Everything works from out of the box, not like this dumpster fire of a game.
I tried to treat him like an adult and all he does is call me names (and everyone else just look at his post history) and post troll posts all day long. I would post the ticket I opened with forum team because he is out right out of control with the trolling and something needs done about it. Just look at this post, it wasn’t created with a single piece of evidence to his lies about Starfield being a horrible game and people that have played it disagree with him. So clearly its him trying to get a rise out of people and is a troll post.

D4 got good scores from review sites that played the Main Campaign and a few hours of the Whisper/Helltides/NMDs.
The REST of the world kept playing after level 50 and realized the game doesn’t go anywhere meaningful after that, hence the low user score.
I know I didn’t go to college but I ran out of fingers on one hand trying to count your list so I’m fairly confident you put more than 5 items on there…
Though honestly my hot take is: BG3 could go either way.

It’s either winning GOTY specifically because of the colossal gaming community support of it… or it’s NOT going to win specifically because of the controversy involved with certain tweets from certain studios.
I don’t know who the people are who decide this stuff. I don’t know where their allegiance lies. Does the community vote, or is it formal critics who decide?
I put 6 to show there are other games competing for the top 5 ahead of D4.
I guess it depends on the GOTY criteria for contenders based on the media outlet or awards show. If they go strictly by sales or Professional Review Scores, and ignore the User Scores, anything is possible.
I just don’t see it beating any of the games in that list.
“Great story”
That had me laughing the hardest. In D3 I still play thru the story mode… not every toon and not even every season but it’s still something I do. I doubt I will EVER play thru the story in D4 ever again because it was a total snooze fest. The only reason to do it was to unlock mounts and the first capstone. Honestly, if it wasn’t for those I would’ve stopped way before that.
The story in D3 was extremely bad compared to D4 holy cow. Such bad voice acting too. My boy Lorath killed it in D4.
At least D3 had Diablo in the story. FFS, why is this flaming pile of dog feces even called Diablo when the star of the series doesn’t even show up? Oh, sure, maybe… maybe they’ll put Diablo in some DLC down the road… but as of right now? No, the D4 story is way worse that D3’s.
