Hi there,
I see people saying they have no problem finding Ancestral items, and others like me spent a full day in T4 and didn’t see any even remotely worth using.
I could go an hour without seeing any drop at all.
How is this possible?
I’m thinking the people finding them are SB players doing very high level T4 content and Pits.
I’m a basic minion Necro. I get 1 shot by the boss in Hell Tide and Hellbourne if I am not careful. Any nearby explosion is the end of me. If I’m frozen or CC’ed I’m dead. I can’t find the Ancestral Gear to survive in T4.
I can’t get past Pit 75. My glyphs are all 70. My level is 249 but 99% of that exp was made in T3 because again, I can die easily in T4 so it is easier to “Farm” exp in T3.
So yes, I am in T4 but because I can’t find Ancestral items that I can use I can’t effectively “Farm” all T4 areas for better gear. No type of T4 content is in “Farm” mode for me.
I was hoping the patch (29th) would address this problem for non - SB players - however I am thinking due to the majority of the people playing SB and all of them getting high enough into T4 Pits to find Ancestral Gear easier the Blizzard stats may show the “majority” having no issue with Ancestral drops. Hense this forum having so many thinking there is no issue with T4 Ancestral drop rates, while others are stuck, like me.
I will give it a couple more days but if the patch (29th) doesn’t address the issue I guess I go play something else and see if the Mid Season patch will address it.
