Not sure why this is a thing now. Greater affix rolls were a thing to get excited about, now it’s always on any ancestral that drops. I wish they would revert this change to be honest.
Don’t worry, in the 10th season we will have the return of the sacred ones.
I didn’t even see that change lol
Yep but ancestral will be harder to get so it’s the same as getting a GA now!
yeah it makes no sense any ancestral that drop has a guaranteed greater affix. It kills the excitement of finding greater affix rolls imo.
What are we on now ? Loot v4.0 ?
so they’re saying finding a ancestral in 2.0 is like finding a ancestral with a greater affix in the current version?
It doesn’t change anything all they did was give greater affix gear their own item type
That’s what I’m getting out of it you gotta be up in a certain T level to have a chance for the ancestral to drop now
Ah yes, i love my 15% received healing GA or my 150HP/s GA etc.
Ah that doesn’t sound to bad then, just a different classification for GA gear altogether
Well yeah GA will be known as Ancestral once the expansion hits!
They start dropping in T1, at about the same rate as you find 1GA drops now from what I understand l. I’m guessing going up in Torment levels increases your odds, but who knows for sure.
That too is what I’ve heard a couple of the YT’ers say the higher the Torment the better the chances of getting the sought after drops!
Voh will have no more item tiers. Ga will just be called ancestral. That all
An interesting point is after 2.0 is out, any Ubers/Mythics items will always roll Ancestral, so that means they should always have at least one GA.
Ancestral items = item power 800 (max)
Only item power 800 can have ga
Not guarantee
Ancestrals are supposed to be more rare, are item power 800 (normal gear max is 750) and have at least one affix be GA with the potential for more.
We’ll see for sure how this all plays out starting Wednesday.
So we will have mythic and ancestral mythic
well i guess after reading this they really stop hiding that it is D3. LMAO
