An option I'd like to see in the shop and for cosmetics

I would REALLY love the following two improvements for cosmetics

  1. When purchasing items from the shop I would like the ability to see the dying options for costumes. There have been a few costumes where I like the appearance, but don’t really like the colour, and since I can’t see if the dying options will make them better or not, I have passed on buying them.

  2. In the wardrobe, I would REALLLLLLY like the ability to choose ONE colour for dying rather than that trio option that’s currently going. And While you are at it, can black ACTUALLY dye to a true black, not this wishy-washy grey variant that is advertised as “black”.

  3. Lastly, If you choose to not use mount armor pieces, can we please just have a basic brown or black saddle, something plain that doesn’t cover the artwork put into the mount but also something other than a sack that is currently offered. I really love the way some of the mounts are decorated and feel like the armor detracts in some cases. Either a plain saddle which can be purchased as an option to use, or the "no armor option being replaced by a simple saddle would be a great solution. I often take the armor off my mounts so I can see the patterns/artwork of the mount better, but without it, I’m left riding a stunning mount, with an ugly brown sack for a saddle.

I would probably buy more costumes if you were able to customise them better. Glamour is my endgame :slight_smile:

First thing I thought of when seeing this post.

You have no idea what any of the pants look like for 90% of the sets in the shop, and it sucks. Also, are those long gloves, or is that part of the top? Are those high boots or is that part of the pants? Are those fabric tails part of the top or the pants? etc etc etc

Oh, and the option to try that individual piece on with what you are currently wearing as a glamour set in game would be fantastic - but perhaps I’m just being greedy now.

I know I have bought armor sets to JUST wear the gloves, pant or weapon etc

Is there a way to see what a horse or cat looks like when you gallop before buying specific armors in the shop? For example, there was a horse that put out wings when it galloped, but I could not figure out how to preview that effect. There is a little icon denoting a “visual fx” cosmetic on some of them. It may just be me, but if no one can see a preview of what the gallop effect is, I would suggest they add that.

A little bit off topic, but related to transmogging and shop items:

Those visual effects used to change color depending on what dye channels you had selected for the gear with the effect.

They completely removed this option. Now the visual FX stay the same ugly color no matter what color you pick for the gear. It is absolutely stupid and most of them dont match anything at all.

Yep, I bought a set because I wanted the black chest piece to match my black boots. Then I realized there are 50 shades of black—the chest piece is a lighter shade compared to the boots.

What makes you want to play the game when you can just deck out your character for another $50?
