90 days for a battlepass? when can i enjoy the game? am i the only one!?
i’ve ran barb since launch, hitting 100 in 2 weeks, playing 16/24h, ww good rolls, after a month i was nm 90+, completed renown 100% (only 6 q missing all over the map) and tbh going all over again in the almost same manner… it’s meh
1.annoying i have to run all over the map again to level up… or grind the same empty dungeon, it’s boring.
2. battlepass (activated premium) and in 2 days i’m barely level 28… but i can’t enjoy playing 8h a day in this game, i don’t think i’ll ever hit 100, and no way i’m going through season 2 again… for what? what’s the mission? in d3 i had AH a reason (either get better either get rich), i had leaderboards, i had rifts which were fun tbh in group… i’m the only guy in 20 friends list which plays this game…
3. why do i have to complete aspects all over again if i already did 100% on main? 4. why do i have to get a new char each season? what’s the point? blizz should rethink this gameplay/style > i did not mind season in d3 cause leveling was way faster (paragon ++++)
5. i’m running a rogue, now i know how main rogues got so much gold, basically this class is so good it doesn’t need gold to support itself, barb was goldeater since level 25.
6. frustrating
I don’t get what you’re trying to say. My first language is Gridanian. Do you mean you won’t be able to get max tiers in battlepass to collect everything
I dont have battlepass and i just hit 50.
I did the lvl 50 dungeon at lvl 41, then helltides and a couple dungeons, then at 48 i got accsess to Nightmare Dungeon 1.
Its all about building right, opening the skills you need from dungeons and just grind.
And no, i havent been playing 24/7.
mine is lamerian, seeking info to see where this game is going; investing my time maybe in another arpg which is fun. explaining fun - love to play it, be entertained, seek competitieness, grind it for a reason, have a conclusion > was fun.
Pssst. You do not have to buy the battle pass. Seasons are completely free beyond the price of the game. What the $10 battle pass adds is some extra cosmetics. What the $25 battle pass adds is letting you skip 20 of the tiers.
all over again? did this once, why do i need to repeat same process? instead of season gating me, gimme higher missions to reach…
It’s not utterly bad, it has a few nice things to it amidst the things I don’t like. I’d just call it udderly bad, to be honest.
i know, it was bought within legendary edition. the problem is i don’t have what to burn in game anymore… i feel like that’s it.
Why play at all.
I play because i enjoy building new builds and trying out skills, i have np with deleting a char after 3 months and reroll., why should i?
At seasons you atleast get some new content.
I having a blast with my Overpower AoE Necro tbh.
This isn’t an MMO. I’m not saying that to belittle you or insinuate anything towards you. It’s just not.
MMOs have social features, more “role playing” stuff, raids, dungeons that require grouping and coordination, many have trinities (not all). In those games, having to restart is awful. The raids and item level requirements to do the next event, and keying, etc., makes restarts near impossible. But those are the mechanisms that make people show up day after day to complete content.
Oh, we killed this boss 40 times already but we need it another 10 to key the guild to go to the next zone so let’s keep doing it. But we can only do it weekly.
They just got a year out of you. That’s a bit of hyperbole but that’s my point.
ARPGs have a natural stopping point. Yes, they can add new content and items but at some point you just don’t have anything to really do.
The seasonal restart is in place to keep players playing. Many take time off. They skip seasons and come back for a bit then skip seasons and come back. I don’t think Blizzard expects a large portion of folks to play every season. I’d argue the amount of people that sink significant time into each season will be an extremely low (single digits percentage wise) of the people who bought the game.
If they added the seasonal content to eternal, right now, you’d have completed it and have nothing to do.
It’s artificial but just as artificial as having to key an entire raid group.
2 days to get to lvl 28 ? Quit while your ahead , either that or your over the top exaggerating.
Ya lets make it like diablo 3 so we can be finished with the season in 1 week , so exciting , blizzard needs to make a seperate hard mode before they cave to all you whiners.
OP, you asked what is the point and say you were already level 100? Well, they literally tried to slow the playerbase down from reaching the end game because there is no end game. Seasons is just a hamster wheel for casuals to reroll or Blizz to sell more battlepasses. There’s very little to no incentive to play, you are correct. That’s why the forums are mostly negative feedback, Metacritic user review is < 2.5 and the devs acknowledged the game has major issues at the Campfire Thing yesterday.
So much whining.
Amazing.
Stop whining about whining and we won’t have to whine about whiners whining about whining.
Stop whining about me complaining about whining
Stop complaining about me pointing out that you are in fact whining. If you didn’t whine in the first place…
If you are serious, its quite funny.
guess you guys are the same people who voted to remove AH and all playerbase from d3 went down to 5k… you’re the 5k ppl. i know what to do.
I quoted this guy because he’s an example of the type of player they love, that eats up everything hook line and sinker.
So basically the argument for seasons from the defenders and/or whiteknights is always “Hey…I’m having fun, you all must be a whiner/crazy because I’m having fun!” and then they describe some monotonous thing they like about seasons like leveling up again, their OP build they copied off Maxroll or the Malignant hearts that are just extra aspects for jewelry slots that mainly give back power they nerfed out of us.
For the many of us who don’t feel like leveling in the hamster wheel every 3 months Blizz really needs to fix up the end game and fast. I honestly don’t care if these players are having fun because they’d probably think a dental drilling is fun. I will only play if Blizzard starts beefing up their end game with patches.
Dumping that patch on Eternal Realm made them lose a decent chunk of their playerbase and they know it, this much was evident in the Campfire Chat. They’ll continue to lose players until they start delivering actions rather than just talk.
Funny guy,… how about you go play the game, instead of hyperventilating over 15% stats that didnt impact the game at all.
This game is about grinding and making builds, im having just as fun on my season 1 char as my 3 other Eternal chars.
Didnt bother me at all tbh.
But hey, keep that negativity flowing forward.
Did the patch suck?, yes it did, but it did not ruin the game.
