Always online has ruined gaming overall. We are just renting the products until the servers are shut down, unlike older games that I can always play whenever I want. The always online aspect ensure the customers have no rights whatsoever.

Even without the queue the wait times are ridiculous, and it’s all for the online only bs, it’s not actually loading data off my drive, I have a high end SSD, it loads off that very quick, the server tho, that takes minutes to get into a game bc of all the dumb verifications.
Obviously that’s not even mentioning the longer term effects for game preservation and consumer rights. I’m still yet to pay money myself for an always online game, that’s the line not to cross, they can keep their glorified connection failure screens for themselves.
If it’s not always-online, then online is ruined by all the cheaters.
That would still, unfortunately, ruin online for everyone because of all the cheaters. They already learned that mistake with Diablo 2.
Especially if there is no pint in being even online in game.
No multiplayer content, no trade, like whats the point of this game ?
Spend money on it I guess to show your skins to the world.

Best items are account bound, loot you find is class-specific and all kinds of bs.

Have you even seen how many suffixes rares in this game have ?
Yes, I have. I’ve seen it at endgame. At level 25 you’re not going to find rares with 5 affixes. At level 100 you will. Almost all of your gear at endgame is going to be rares you imprinted to upgrade.
Well, there is gonna be some catch. You will see.
Blizzard would never let you trade valuable items in their game.

I get what youre saying but thats in the past now. Gaming has evolved.
So many options like piracy, cheating, duplicating, injecting hacked items… what a hoot of fun! I guess folks forgot how much fun D3 was on consoles… thankfully PC didn’t have local saves for online.

I really wanted to like the game. The gameplay seems fun, and the activities (albeit I was just able to play for a couple hours)
I could keep playing but I decided to drop the game because the game performs poorly, and no it is not a hardware issue on my side, all my resources were well below throttle, the performance issues I was having were due to network, now guess who is to blame for that…
Add a god damn offline mode.

Was enjoying a little I got to play but now I’m getting enless crashes and disconnects, impossible to get back in the game.
