I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a good alternative to the Discord channel official? I was banned for defending someone that was being attacked for being a certain sexuality. Then on appeal the mod said I “Discussed” politics too many times before. The strange thing is, it was a general chat… which I thought was for chat? I received no warnings prior to this permanent ban. Or if there were, they weren’t noticeable because it did not involve a DM. Sooo… any suggestions? I need to find groups and I think that is the only way. NOBODY talks in-game ever for any reason.
I’d also be interested in a laid back group of open minded adults on discord.

There’s like 10-20 tryhards desperate to convince themselves and everyone else that the sky is green. That’s why Pez is just a regular visitor of that place. Its mods are virginal 40yo’s.
It makes you wonder where they even found these people. I’ve never seen such insane mods. Why even have a chat feature and just call it LFG? If you get banned for talking… what is the point?
Because they’re usually 4 feet tall with hairy toes and their lunch gets stolen daily, so the internet is the only place they can exercise some “power” over other people. That’s why you’ll always find those types being mods or admins on reddit, discord or some forum.

Correct. It is part of the /Diablo4 reddit. It is not an “official” discord for Diablo that is run by Blizzard. It is however partnered like Streamers, guide sites, etc. Blizz does monitor it for feedback and provide press release info to them like they do to other websites.
How is It possible that they still let this guy being this disrespectful in every single post he makes?

I don’t understand speaking about one’s sexuality in a videogame discord though, like at what point do we draw the line and keep sexual preference in its place and gaming on gaming?
I don’t agree with the ban but I certainly don’t agree with the conversation that led to it either.

Can at least find groups here. You should probably keep your chat to Diablo LFG or finding items to trade. It’s pretty simple to do. Just use it as the resource it’s meant to be
No need to talk about anything other than Diablo. Nobody wants to hear anything else, and I’m glad people are keeping it that way
No, I just post reasonable things when I post and keep it pertinent to the subject. It’s a lot less of a headache
awfully convenient for blizzard to make 0 attempts to create a chat or group finder in this game, then have actual employees post on reddit, and be in discord and claim that “its not the official reddit and discord, its just a magical 3rd party thing we have nothing to do with” “we dont even know how our employees got there really.”

Nobody said that. They know exactly how the staff got there which is to collect feedback. It is public knowledge that the Discord is partnered. Just like the CMs watch various streams and have streamers they are partnered with.
The rest is just gross. It was horrible when whoever at Blizzard did it, and it is horrible that you think it is funny to reference. Hopefully whoever on the WoW team pulled that crap got very very fired, along with anyone who thought it was funny or ok. That is just outright wrong.
you know what, im sorry for offending you. really im quite furious that they somehow missed such a basic feature like groupfinder. forget about chat, but GROUPFINDER. its borderline inexcusable. but really its pointless yelling at green posters about it when theres nothing a green poster can do about it. id talk to a blue but i dont use twitter or reddit so im stuck here. >.<
It can detect proxies. VPNs, probably not.
Residential proxies aren’t the same as regular proxies.
