I’m just wondering if anyone else is actually just literally not able to care enough about the altars to get it done?
I’ve found like 60 of them now… Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever collect them all. It feels like the worst kind of collectables hunt to be opening a map in an external website to find this stuff…
I don’t really think I can even care enough to get it done once. Maybe it’s just me and I’m a casual now ^^;

i will never collect the statues. it´s boring and repetetive like the whole game. not worth my lifetime
Same. I’ve got two zones left with unfinished altars and I just…can’t. Every time i think about it, I find something better to do instead.
To be honest with you I like this game enough to want to play it for another month or two maybe, except for these statues…
This is seriously like old games where you had to find some collectables to the point where you were thinking more about looking for the collectables around every corner instead of actually enjoying the game.
Only this time it’s like 10x more stuff to find lol
This specific part of the game is really unquestionably un-fun to me.
I have 3/5 zones done and honestly it is complete garbage. At least we only have to do this once.
I only touch them when I happen to see them. I aint doin no easter egg hunt. Screw that.
Nope. Don’t even care a little bit. If I see one great, otherwise, they don’t exist. Will probably never even map out pvp zones let alone get a silly statue,
I want to actually make a character to troll pvp players by picking up like one seed at a time and making them run to the altar…

It was pretty boring.
I basically broke each zone into quadrants based on the center-most waypoint. That way I only had to deal with the 1 or 2 quadrants I could stomach per session.
i stopped playing the game a while ago, i just like to fight people on here
I dont rly care about it much … never looked up a map of them or spend actual ingame time hunting for them … less power for me …
But i find it extremely satisfying to find one at random while doing something else , but nothing more than that .
That’s the reason you would struggle at high NM dungeons. Becoz you wont be able to unlock paragon nodes that requires high dexterity/willpower/intelligence.
And these same people complain why the game is so hard for them. They are missing a lot of damage multipliers.
I’m doing NM 60-65 depending on modifiers right now with my level 89 rogue and it’s fine, you’re right on some level for sure because that’s like enough paragon points to get to another big node…
I still think this is an awful gameplay idea though.
Honestly, if playing high nightmare basically is nothing but minmaxing / gear grinding / doing chores like a dog just so I can see the T100 number instead of a T85 number or whatever but the game feels the same, there’s no point?
Got 100% region completion in SC and all fog of war and altars in HC. The trick is being a masochist, depressed and listening to a podcast.
I have 4/5 zones done, and even using a website it’s so annoying that ive been at 4/5 zones for 3 weeks now.
I honestly dont know what to do. Do I get the alters and grind renown for the new season, or do i just do that all in the new season so i have something to do
I havent played since beating the campaign, Iv spent more times on these forums than in the actual game itself.
I keep asking myself if I should just play the game as if seasons dont exist and only do them for cosmetics that will later get transferred to my main.
Its just crazy, iv never been so confused on whether i should play a game or not, i have no clue what to do. Its the most first world problem ever!
I like paragon points so… I did them.
i did it and i hated every single moment of it. the only way i got through it was very loud music and lots of alcohol.
and I refuse to grind to renown level 5 by doing garbage sidequests.
I forced myself to get all of them due to min-maxxing stats.
I hated every, damn, second of this grind. it took me 3 days even with using the maps since I only had a few hours each day to play after work.
It then took me 5-6 days to grind everything up to level 5 renown and my existence was miserable.
I literally wanted to slam my face onto my desk.
Nothing else can express how boring and mundane this reputation grind was.
I would not mind it, if blizzard made it more ORGANIC so it fell like less of a grind/busy work to artificially lengthen the game
You would do Altar if Lilith once and all your alts especially on Seasons would inherit all of them. Stop crying. It’s just once.
