All these updates are making the game extremely laggy on Xbox One

I can’t blame any one update in particular but this game get slower and slower with every update. Is there a reason why options to change the graphics settings are basically nonexistent? The very few options I can change do not reduce lag or loading times at all.

I know that one part of the problem is loading other players, traveling to a town, entering a legion/world boss event gets me 5-10 seconds of frozen screen. But it is more than that, even when I am alone in the wilds and sometimes even while doing solo dungeons the game will freeze periodically followed by a few more seconds of extremely laggy play.

I use an external hard drive with my xbox so I know my console storage is not even close to being full. I do not have any internet issues at my place, or even with other xbox games.

I am seriously concerned that once this new season drops and I have to get ANOTHER massive update, Diablo may very well be completely unplayable on the Xbox One. Blizzard needs to put a pause on adding to the game, and focus on optimizing the game. And in my opinion, just allowing players to lower the resolution, or change any graphic settings would probably help too.

In all fairness thats a you problem.
You either need to upgrade your system (get the sx or ss) or ps5 or a good pc.

(Im excited for s4. I left during s1 lol)

Season 1 was probably my least favorite so far, I still liked it but relatively speaking I thought it was the worst.

And also, it’s not just a me problem, it’s an everyone with an xbox one problem (I think). It’s fudged up to sell a game for a console that cannot handle playing that game.

So far season 4 is slightly laggier, but I think that may be due to bugs and such because my buddy who plays on an xbox series X also experiences it.

I am tired of people saying “upgrade your console” when this game was extremely stable last year. It;s virtually unplayable now with constant crashes to Home. The crazy thing is, I get a random 2 hours ok and then it’s non-stop crashes for another 2.
