All the RNG just makes the game unfun

You realize triple crit master working is basically the cornerstone of endgame progression, yeah? If you want to reach certain breakpoints and do the highest available content, you need to triple crit your gear.

Absolute clown coming in here saying people deserve to fail at the literal point of the endgame.

imo double crit is enough
ofc triple is better but if to get it i have to farm for weeks, well no thanks
btw i didnt insult anyone

for example he wanted to triple crit life on his banished lord amu
that means just some more life than a double crit, i dont think its worth it

Rng is fun when done right.
Dumb RNG like D4 is an insult. You like being insulted? I don’t.

I assure you that is not why “most people quit the season already.” Most people are not sweaty try hard masochists.

Exactly, the whole thing is multi-stack RNG and it is everywhere! Gear type, affix, affix-value, GA, tempering, masterworking… and: RNG on skills and aspects! Just look around how many skills, passives, etc have “chance %” in it, it is beyond annoying. On top of the already complex combat of vuln, crit, overpower, lucky hit, dmg on tuesdays, etc nonsense you have chance to daze, freeze, stun, execute elite, etc, etc, etc. :exploding_head:

D4 does not want you to have predictability in anything.

Don’t forget the 25% chance to get randomly disconnected after 10 waves of hordes

I just want to point out that they are not “slowing people down” with everything being so nerfed into the ground. They make them not getting there at all. It’s not slowing. It’s just shutting the door because RNG is just too severe to force through it.

“You want this pretty 2-3GA BiS item for your build? Hah, no, you won’t get it because no. Go buy gold for dollars and then pay for that 100 billion gold, this is the way this game is meant to be played”.

Typical response for a water-carrier.

ye i like to carry water

No no no
This is an arpg and if loot hunting and RNG isn’t your thing this is not your game. This is the answer you’ll get soon enough.

But a stands for action isn’t it? So combat should be meaningful.

No no no, that’s not what diablo is about. It’s about running same area a thousand times over.

Umm maybe that was the limitation of first games due to their time. Maybe developers would love to move towards more methodical action?

Noooo diablo is all about blowing up stuff in as short time as possible and doing as many times as you can.

And you don’t even know what you are farming for as Pit is the only endgame.
