I had few hundred thousands gold I think, something like 300k and suddenly it’s all gone WTF?
I tried different skills and suddenly I have no gold and I’m stuck to talents which might not even work as I want them to. What is this? I can’t change talents and I don’t know if I’m able to play like that. What I’m suppose to do? Make another character? This is stupid.
How I’m suppose to change talents and try different play style if game doesn’t allow me to change them?

It literally tells you when you respect skills how much gold its costing you to do so. Did you close your eyes after a while hoping it would stop taking your gold? There was definitely a point in time you should have realized you should stop.

I wasn’t aware that few simple clicks in the talent tree are gonna cost me so much. Normally when I buy gear price is shown clearly but I wasn’t prompted or asked if I want to respec for 300k. This is cheating. Give me back my gold.
Farm for yellow and sell everything its not rocket science, you can kill stuff on t1 for yellow item drops sell them to vendors and you make money fast
I’m going to assume you are not very high level and you probably were gemming and ungemming equipment while leveling.
Wait until a single reroll on any piece of gear takes 3 millions or even more… Serious now, sell EVERYTHING, you’ll make millions in no time, millions that will disappear in no time as well

You have to sell stuff to vendors in this game as the gold that drops does not seem to be enough. So you have to balance selling and salvaging, depending on how your resources are. So yeah, this is a resource management game as much as anything else.
Aspects and repair past level 50 cost around 100,000 each.
With Rerolls can cost millions.

I’ve been told to salvage everything when lvling because later in the game those items will be worth a lot more so it’s better to salvage now.
Now that I have no other choice I’ll start salvaging everything
I didn’t reroll but repairs cost me about 3-4k per death where aspects cost about 30k (I don’t do them very often though).
So it kind of happened to me to some extent as well. I didn’t realize un-gemming is not worth while leveling to 50 on your first toon.
I avoided tutorials (“I Wish I Knew This Before I Started D4” type youtube videos) before I played, however, I wish I didn’t because this is one of the key pieces of advice talked about in these videos.
Best way to get gems back while leveling is to salvage the item gemmed so you can get them back.
There are some youtube videos that explain when to sell and salvage, I suggest you check them out.

I figured it out after couple un-socketing attempts. I think when I got to 40+
I think we shouldn’t be allowed to respec until we hit “Accept” and agree on X gold to be payed. I only did trial and error with talents to see if things will work as I want them to and I got massive bill to pay.
I wanted to keep my skills same but change from crit to resource gain and it didn’t worked, I got beaten instantly so I got out of money and locked with crappy talents. There HAS to be a better solution to this.
