All gold suddently gone - Suspected gold counter buffer overflow

All my gold is suddenly gone, I had 5,10 or 20 million or so…at some point it was so much, that I didn’t look at the gold counter anymore.
Today its all gone now :frowning:
I suspect a counter overflowed and reset my gold to zero.
Please recover my gold balance and fix the gold counter bug.

I suspect you enchanted an item a few times. The cost of services in this game are crazy.

Thank your for your kind reply, dear Latimere.
That could have happened indeed, I did not realize that enchating to the max level gets insane expensive. I just hit the enchating button a few times in a row, maxing out items several times  …Having the character on level 60.
Then I went to a different merchant and got the message that I can not afford basic services.

Big relief ! You made my day

did you buy a saddle at the mount vendor? I noticed at level 70+ it costs 5.8m gold if i go to the vendor at level 4 its only 5.3k (yes the same saddle), kinda funny

wtf lmfao seriously!!!

yup! go check it out, any mount vendor sells the item, load up on a low level character and see the price difference

Thanks for all the replies.
Im at level 60, as Latimere pointed out it was enchanting/upgrading.
I had so much gold that I didnt count anymore, it was something like +20 million.
I seems I spent it in seconds by upgrading several top notch items to the max level.

My face dropped to the floor when I then went to the diamond service, not being able to pay unsocketing.
I looked at my gold counter, it was 4000 lol

Well, also respecing later on can easily cost you 10+ millions, so keep eye on when you get to higher levels. 20 mills are pocket change (according to service prices, it is still going to be 30 trips of full inventory to vendor), I spend that today just to “compress” gems so they don’t take so much space.

for me compressing the gems, its fast and easy! I just take them into my inventory and drop them on the ground! only flawless are worth keeping to convert to royals

Why is your name greyed out sprotsmaster? The only time I noticed that before was a banned player.

Exactly, and my issue was I had multiple stacks of flawless of each type, they stack only up to 50.

OP is grey
edit: nvm but I noticed it multiple times today, hidden profile maybe? Low trust level (new user)? Yeah, 4 posts, pretty sure you become white once you achieve “member” trust level or something.

I`m just a level 60 noob who spent 20 million gold on services in seconds, without noticing :joy:

Hey it happens, don’t worry about it, you will have it back soon. Lesson learned at least!

The reason I went to this conclusion is I like many others did the exact same thing. The enchanting prices are ridiculous.

Service costs are just way too high to be something to consider using tbh

Lol thats hilariously bad. Glad i bought them all at low level. I’ve heard of a lot of ridiculous scaling stories in my life but never vendor pricing lol.

Yeah. I keep trying to roll for a higher crit dmg and I am now at over 3 mill a roll…. At this point I’m not sure if I should just cut my losses or if I am too deep to pull out.

Giggity.

It’s the habit of clicking several times in a row on upgrading an item. Because I did such upgrades in the character levels before reaching level 60…and did not look at the occurring costs anymore, I did not realize it was sucking up all my gold balance.

For quite a while the services in the game didnt really cost much, so I have now reached a level where service costs start to matter.

I guess at level 100 its easy to spend billions of gold on services with a few clicks ? :grimacing: :joy:

I need to catch some of those gold gobblins !
