Hi blizzard, i think , is time for change ahavarion aspect and afix… this item ( uber item) is very bad. Sorry guys , but no one want drop this staff… because this because the properties of this item are completely useless, no one want random shrine efect… look, barb and necro have specialy item for this class( grandfather) have extra good aspect and afix and extra boost for crit dmg… Boys go delete ahavarion and create new uber for sorc, druid… with dmg owertime, all stats, damage and attack speed… and aspect similar like in grandfather but dmg gain dmg owertime… ahavarion is very bad item and trust me, no one want this item … useless useless useless… and when is uber drop so bad, no one want drop ahavarion when finally droped uber … please, make it better

Ahavarion Lycander Spear is useless.
It’s been useless since season 4’ish? IMO
I do agree they need to REDO that one, as much as I loved the look and the affect of it, I haven’t gotten that spear in over 11 months, while I’ve gotten every Other Mythical Unique. I find that odd.
That Melted heart of Selig needs a good make over as well.
I can remember when the spiritborn saw the light of Sanctuary. Given the opportunity to wield an awesome weapon called glaive. Even a Mythic one. We got plenty of glaive skins in ye olde ingame shoppe.
But what did 99.999% (maybe 1 roleplayer not) wield? Yesssss… Quarterstaff… The Hot Rod of Kepelekekekekekekeke 
The last time I used the staff was like in s3 on chain lightning sorc and it was a meme even then.
The problem is the double chance tempering on legendary gear and on some uniques and if you miss them well it’s half dmg lost…
if uber item is to replace a legendary item with an aspect, it must have extremely high damage to be worthwhile, more than main item with aspect… because , look, barbar can use normal 2h mace with aspect, 2x 1h items and grandfather - all together- and sorc or druid? Only 1x 2h item… and if uber item like ahavarion is to replace legendary item, must have better dmg and stats, because sorc use only 1x 2h items… thats all
IMHO, since they added the Spiritborn and all its history, it would be interesting to see the Ahavarion Lycander Spear re-worked into the Gidbinn from D2R (or the “Blade of the Old Religion”). Having a powerful one hander with the ability to use an off-hand would be nice.
One of many Mythics that need a re-work to be useful.
I still say it would be cool if Mythics bypassed the Boss immunity phases.
The staff is bad because shrines are bad, the shrine need rework instead.
Ahavarion is a lady’s weapon.
since Blizzard purposely made Lilith and Andariel both female as the strongest bosses in the game, a weapon once wielded by a female should also get the strongest buff, so the message stays aligned.
Also blizzard…
Stop punishing players for using one handed weps and focus.
You are not even coming close to the output two handed creates.
(Ahavarion excluded because its crap but still probably is better)

If a tools is deem useless, its because of the user.
There are a lot of useless items in this game. Even if you like the skills associated with them it is not possible to create a build around them that will do more than kitten scratch dps damage.
