My eternal realm stash is maxed out, and so is my seasonal stash, what will happen at the end of the season?
I clearly don’t have enough space on my eternal realm for a full seasonal stash full of items, what’s the transition here?
You’ll most likely get it ‘limbo-ed’ and you’ll need to clear out space to make way for new space.

I figured as much, but have they specified what will happen? I recon this will be a very common occurrence.

Most likely same thing as D3 and now D2R. You will get an eternal “ghost stash”/tabs for 30 days that you can remove items from but not add in to. So you will need to make space for them in your regular stash and keep whatever you want. Anything left in the ghost stash will vanish in a month.
As for the storage space, I personally tend to think that Blizzard is telling the truth, but not the whole truth.
The more likely reason for limiting players’ storage space is probably to reduce the server cost. Personally, I think the most likely solution is to indirectly realize a total of ten tabs of space by providing a 5-tabs “transfer box” for season players.
After all, the proportion of season players paying for season tickets is much higher than that of eternal players who buy cosmetics .
They want to make stashing better at 0 server cost? Get the hell rid of the halfassed idea of legendary affixs being what they are now and turn them into a find one affix, and then hunt for better versions until you ‘max’ it out and then it gets used like the ones that you unlock.
Now you don’t need to have a stash full of half-junk and 'what if…‘s’

On that day they tell me, I have to merge 2 full stashs and have to delete tabs full of perfectly rolled aspects for other builds I don’t have the time to level the chars for I will uninstall the game.
Might as well get to it now, because thats whats going to happen.
Or make some mules.

Blizzard mails you the contents of your seasonal stash after the season is over. The only real solution is to say good-bye to most of it.
