I would like to see a post game Diablo 4 with the possibility to create custom scenarios with the game’s own resources. Many Raids with a limited group of characters, tower defense, siege attack. many world bosses to test the character’s equipment and level! and of course… housing
is there a game where that actually worked?
dos2 and neverwinter:online both had that feature where players can make their own campaign but never see any content about it and the games “died”
i actually like the idea , just never seen it done in a way that made the game extra successful.
There’s like 6 endgame activities.
I remember there being Neverwinter (The MMO, not to be mistaken with Neverwinter Nights) that actually allowed players to create custom dungeons and scenarios, and there were quite a good amount of them to play through. Some even high quality. I remember playing a Wizard of Oz mission that was pretty well written, and then there was a short mission where you became the villain and killed everyone and everything.
Unfortunately that has been discontinued. So basically, it can very well work in an MMO type of game (Could be pretty easy for an ARPG), it’s just up to the developers to actually implement it and make it work.
I actually wanted a game that would give me over 100 hours of gameplay, which we only get in sekiro, elden ring and farm games like stawdew Valley.
oh snap yep. youre right it was neverwinter:online ; no “nights” in there. i’ll edit previous post.
Get juiced up, get all the goodies you can from the current season to transfer to eternal realm, rest well for the next season.
(Plays mario maker) Nope don’t want that kinda stuff here. There’s just no check or balancing in these type of player made content. Get ready to be thrown into a cellar with 10 butcher while the ceiling cave in everywhere stunning the player constantly and the floor is cover with spider web.
Any spoilers of how it would be?
I bought the idea that this diablo would be the definitive edition, I’m already a middle-aged man, I’ll leave it to the young people to sort it out while I expel demons…
