Are we getting any? Did they say they gonna release a batch of updates taking a feedback into consideration? Or will they just release the season and then we will see?
For season 4 they released the patch notes the week before the season started. They showed any changes to the original in red. I’m sure they’ll do exactly the same this time too.
The VoH Livestream is on July 18th so I’d be willing to bet we won’t hear anything about season 5 before that and most likely not until August 1st.
Actually hoping we’d get a few of the QoL things from the PTR patched in this season. Like extra tempers for GA items. Or boss resets in the boss lair.
That’ll never happen. People asked the same for the S4 patch, and adding in some of the QoL from that too. We just have to wait.
Probably, but they’ve made QoL changes in late season before without making a big deal about it. The break all marked sigils appeared late season 2 if I recall.
1.4.4 Build #55523 (All Platforms) - July 10, 2024
Some very minor stuff here.
- Fixed an issue where the Tortured Gift of Amulets in Helltide didn’t grant as many items as intended.
…although this was as glaringly stingy as PTRs infernal hordes rewards. At least they recognized that.
But of course, barbs get another buff:
Fixed an issue where the following Aspects were not dealing as much damage as intended:
- Dust Devil’s Aspect
Yeah, those are pretty minor considering feedback from ptr.
That’s not the PTR patch notes that’s the notes for the patch that went live a month ago for mid season.
nope its the small patch for july 10th
It might take them awhile. They have to flip a s*load of quarters to figure out what they need to change.
Don’t you think if we were that important of a revenue stream, they would give us better active service?
Stuff like this just makes me feel we have a skeleton crew.
I’d prefer if they trickled in stuff as it was ready myself. Not only give the community something to try out, but also get out all the bugs before the major patch hits.
I also understand that they can’t release patches every week either though. It has to be sent over to the console companies first, then sent back, all the red tape, you know how it goes.
One patch a month would work in my opinion, at least for smaller QoL things anyway. All the simple things that don’t involve some major changes or new systems being introduced. No idea how plausible that would be, but it’d be nice to see.
We will get notes probably a week before S5. They wont give them until they are done with the changes they are going to make for that patch. There will be no testing of any changes which is pretty much why the PTR is a joke and used for mostly marketing.
Ah yea I read it wrong and thought it said June.
