Ever since the new patch , using the portal disconnects me from the server after waiting for about a full minute expecting to reach my destination i get a “disconnected from the server error”. Have to restart the game every time i use the portal . Had no issues like this before the patch.

Same here. Town Portal from inside a dungeon is more like a 90% disconnect. I find myself sorting my loot and leaving a lot behind because if I TP I’ll lose it all.
Even worse, when I finish a dungeon and portal out, I DC and sometimes when I reconnect it restarts the dungeon for me. INFURIATING.

Happens 100% of the time for me. Disconnects when I use portal to a town or to NM dungeon entrance.

I am having the same issue. Disconnects whenever I try to travel by hot key, the map or using the nightmare sigil travel feature after the latest update. Has made the game unplayable. Also, when I hover over an item I can’t see the items attributes.
Note - Windows and my drivers are all up to date.

Same here, sicence the patch i have so many disconnects… this game have realy enough problems dont make new problems please :o)

I have been crashing consistantly every dungeon when its time to leave and return to town to unload. I left Torment and went back to Nightmare and never try to unload until the dungeon is completed. I have been able to skate around and still finish the dungeons with shouts only. I usually cant kill anything if I lunge because I rubberband backwards so many times. Thats why I went back to Nightmare because at least I’m stronger there. When I was in Torment I was being killed too quickly because the game monsters are not experiencing what many of us are…LOL!
Usually I can tell when the game is going to crash because I cant pick up the coin or I cant hit anything at all and just skate around uncontrollably! I have been a lover of Diablo throughout 1, 2 and 3 but personally I don’t think 4 was ready when it was released or its just an inferior product!
But I will say this, I see that it matters when you log in because there are times that it just stops acting up and plays like it should. Hopefully this can be addressed soon before we all just get disgusted.
For the record, I have a powerful PC and killed all the needed stats and my ping is fast as is my wired connection.
Same here and also if you use a nightmare dungeon sigil and jump to a portal and your game disconnects, when you join back in, the sigil is used and the dungeon is set to normal so you wasted your sigil as well. Going in or out of a dungeon I get the disconnect again. Game is unplayable for me as of the patch first the taunt bug and now the portal or going in or out of anything even going to the boss fight I get the disconnect. spent money on a season pass that I cant clamed my items because I cant play .

I do want to say that I tested Torment between 2-3am and the game was stable unless I went into a dungeon then it did Network Disconnects when I tried to leave but entering seemed good.
So my best advice until this is fixed is to try to play at different times and if its unstable and you either keep getting disconnects or your character becomes uncontrollable, then quit the game and wait about a half hour and try again or go to a lesser tier so you don’t keep dying and especially if your Hardcore!
I know this is not acceptable to many but its a work-around to at least find a time where you can advance and hopefully this will get fixed soon…
Same issue here, loading screens are a lot slower since the 1.1.1 patch and often the town portal results in a disconnect and sends me back to character selection (after an disconnect message).
Turned the graphics to the minimum, disabled cross play and cross chat to no avail.
same here cant teleport back to town, lags out and freezes, have to manual close d4
Well guys I heard what you all said so I bit the bullet and purchased a new state of the art system to test out whether it could be a hardware issue as Hihoshi said he was told by tech support on another forum . (Crash instantly after 1.1.1 update following Fenris crashing).
I got it game ready and plunged in and it was doing the same things as my other new pc was doing. When I panned over loot items it did not show their properties as was happening since 1.1.1. on many items. When I tried to transport out of dungeons network disconnects happened over and over. At times I can’t pick up coin or items also and my Barb gets uncontrollable and starts rubberbanding. So its definitly not a hardware issue. We are all experiencing the same type issues after the new patch!
I think the game is unstable or the servers get overloaded but its definitly out of our control. For me it comes and goes at different hours which tells me that I’m catching the servers at a good time and then within a couple of hours it starts up again. On weekends when there is the most traffic is when it seems to be the worst.
So I say that if they are trying to pass the buck then they will eventually lose business when we don’t keep purchasing battle passes for new seasons. I think they will come to their senses and try to fix these issues because their business is going to suffer if they don’t.
I also went back to playing D3 because it has no issues…

Не допилили нормально патч.
Раньше без лагов и вылетов играл, сейчас же 5 минут игры и 10 минут релогина…
Спасибо за новый патч, очень понравилось играть таким образом.
Диабло 4 теперь реально хардкор (только для твоих нервов)…
damn thought i was the only one guess not lol this game is a bust cant believe i spent a lot of money for that deluxe and some cosmetics to end up like this always waiting for patches to fix broken sht 1 after the other. guess off to another game til they get their sht together hoping season maybe 4-5 is a much better fleshed out exp otherwise POE2 it is

Same issue as everyone has stated above. When I’m in a nightmare and portal out I get disconnected almost every single time and it says Network Disconnect. This never happened before the patch. Clearly this is something on Blizz’s end as there are so many people having this issue. Fix ASAP! So frustrating!
Same problem here. It disconnects any time I try to fast travel, or when I exit dungeons or basements. Pretty much any instanced environment, and only seems to be after the most recent patch. Blizz, fix this. It’s made the game unplayable.
Same, and half the time the game freezes when the world boss spawns.
I am having the same problem. It is literally devastating. I just hope someone that can do something about it hears us. I don’t want to have to stop playing this awesome game.
