had same issue, turn off ge-force overlay but ALSO exit out of steam if its still in the background while playing, i had to do both of these things and the controller finally worked normal again.
sadly doesnât fix it at all for me, i havenât the overly on in the first place.
switched it to ond and then off again startet the game, didnât work.
switched it on rebooted the system and then switched it off, started the game still doesnât work.
anyone more ideas?
it startd today with that issue. had no issues at all with that before and i played all the beta test and since 2.06 with controller.
did they messed up the server maintenance they did yesterday on the live-server?
but i didnât had the issue yesterday while they where working on the servers.
every help is welcomed at this point 
Edit 1: ok looks like it was the stupid Windows Update that messed with some overlay. Rollback and all good again.
Turned all those apps off.
I use my controller, stop moving for 3 seconds to read a tool tip, and poof, it switched to mouse/keyboard mode.
Friggin annoying.
worked for about a day, but back to same issue =/
This was it, closing steam completely solved it for me.
Closing Steam didnât fix it for me and Iâve got a 7900XT so it canât be the Geforce app.
