After 10 hours on 1.1.0

I played 10 hours on 3 characters (druid 87, sorc 83, necro 77)

Helltide - collect essence took longer and mystery chest going up to 250… overall it felt like it was not worth the effort it took to complete.

NM Dungeons - I had to drop about from about 20 tiers per character on average. I died on average twice as much. I had to pull dense groups of enemies and separate them into more manageable chunks. This led to much longer clear times which in turn effects drops, xp and general feeling of satisfaction in doing these.

Builds - This was a mess and I had to alter or completely redo certain builds on different characters. For example, my druid shred build was clearing 60+ and now was struggling to clear 30s and I ultimately had to change to another build…

I honestly could write a paper on all my experiences, but like this patch, the effort wouldn’t be worth it. 2023 has so many incredible games that it won’t be hard to find something else to play. I will look at future patches to see if it is worth coming back for, but for now I will not take part in season 1 and will be taking a break from the game.

I would love to read it, as long as it is fully referenced and peer reviewed… Enjoy your time off from the game.

This actually sounds kind of fun to me…like am I crazy?

they nerf dmg, make you die easier, make crap take longer to complete, make you farm more in helltides, screw over current builds. all to hide the fact that other than a few new gems / aspects they aint got any new content for S1

I would completely agree with you if I didn’t work so hard to get really well rolled gear! I had a lot of max CD reduction which was nerfed heavy and with new builds comes new damage types, so a lot of the existing gear didn’t carry over which I was frustrated over.
Otherwise, yup I absolutely agree with you

The content is just the hearts, thats it.
