I guess more player will AFK leveling somewhere in the world as you can kill mobs and gain xp from player around you killing thing.
Considering the XP nerf will definately a better way to level up while going to work and sleep.
Can’t wait for the youtube vid on best AFK XP farm spots.
Maybe Legion event sites?
Can you be into that region before the start of legion and participate in it. Even if it only 1/5 chance to be in the right spot. You are afk didn’t matter.
AFK will never be faster or better then actually moving around and participating.
Gear along the way is a massive part about being able to progress smoothly all the way.
So, movement skills and speed is VERY important when leveling for this exact reason.

What an unfun way to consider to play game. A vidéo game is not supposed to be a chore. If it is to you, just don’t play it and get rid of the FOMO that is torturing you.
It’s not about speed, just a way to progress because of the xp nerf.
Paragon board are the real way to progress, gear give a marginal upgrade compared to the power of Paragon.
It’s actually a clever way to progress and having fun while playing. AFK is not playing is a tool to help having fun while playing. The season is a 3 month window, during the pre-season I only be able to be level 75, not even the middle point of xp. Adding to that the xp nerf, to me it seem the only way to be able to fill the paragon board.
